I look at Feliks Zemdegs, and only 2 years ago, he and I had the same averages as myself.

Dude, I have the same problem, I learned everything you said, but I'm at about a minute as well. I only have a storebought, so I just bought a lingyun, thinking it was the cube, but I guess not. Whats a good schedule to practice though? Like how often a day, how long, how many times a week?
Not if your sig is anything remotely close to correct. Feliks posted a sub-20 average a bit over 3 years ago. 2 years ago he got a 12 second average in competition.
Thank you very much
That depends on your goals, how much free time you have and how quickly you tire. I personally only practiced for maybe an hour and a half each day during the school year, but I am doing about 3-4 hours now that school is out. I would say that if you want to get better quickly, you need to either practice more or learn how to practice efficiently for more info see :http://www.speedsolving.com/forum/showthread.php?27870-How-to-practice . I try to do both if possible. There is no one answer however.
sometimes i can cube for 5 hours straight but other times i find it hard to stay on task, and i get sidetracked. Any suggestions?
I have managed to get myself under the 30s bracket but I can in no way manage to get under 30 seconds.
If you have a lot of trouble tracking a pair, the issue is that you haven't practiced enough. As stated by Sahid Velji, 2 weeks for intuitive F2L is not that much, and the more you practice the better you'll be at finding pairs, and the faster you'll get. Practice for a few months (I know, sounds like a lot, but not really) and I'm pretty sure your F2L time will drop by a lot. Also, once you get decently fast at F2L (cross + F2L = 15-25 seconds), I highly recommend to start learning looking ahead, if you haven't already. It's a CRUCIAL technique that you NEED to learn to be able to be fast and if you get good at it, it will help you A LOT.Hi, I'm having trouble getting faster... I know 6 OLLs, 4 PLLs, intuitive F2L. I could do the cross, OLL and PLL as fast as the average cuber, but my real problem is at F2L. Any tips for tracking a pair? Any tips/tricks in general? I seem to take a long time when searching for the next pair I find. I've known F2L for at least 2 weeks now, and I am desperate to get better. Heellp me! Thanks in advance! -doompickle
