~How much letters do you need to memorize for 6x6 blindfold?
About 130-140

My only success so far had 134 letters:
UQ EM VN WO FZ GR AK BL HP TH
MQ AI EU JR VB SN DF OL GP HT
EA IV NC FJ DW PK GZ LR LS HS
EM FA QG CR IU TV JD NK PH WL W
WS ZR AQ VG DJ HL PF MN TC OI BW
BP QW VM JR CO TI VF HN AG KD SE LF
QO PC DG W

What are the "algs" for M2 edges for the middle edges?? Thanks to anyone who takes the time to type them all ;)
UB: M2
BU: B' R B (U R2 U') M2 (U R2 U') (B' R' B)
another one I came up with not using B moves: (U R U') (Uw R Uw') M2 (Uw R' Uw') (U R' U')

UF: U2 M' U2 M'
DB: M U2 M U2
***if you get to one of these targets, and you've already executed an odd number of targets before it, you must execute the opposite target, so either UF instead of DB, or DB instead of UF. If you've already executed and even number of targets, you execute it as normal.

FU: D M' (U R2 U') M (U R2 U') D' M2
BD: M2 D (U R2 U') M' (U R2 U') M D'
***similar to the UF/DB targets, if you get to either of these targets, and you've already executed an odd number of targets before it, you must execute the opposite target, so FU becomes BD and BD becomes FU. If you've done an even number of targets, you do the alg as normal.

Google BH Corners
Learn all the corner cycles that are 11/12 moves long

Yeah I got this point. :) But why? If i got your idea, because there are only 24 cases (12) and there are based on setup moves: setup - pure commutator - undo setup. Becasue i can change setups I can solve every corner case? Am I right?

I am trying to learn BLD solving and memorization has always been an issue. Can someone help me understand the concept of PAO at the end of this page?

You basically make assign 3 images to each letter pair - a [person], an [action] and an [object] (if you stick to famous people, they usually have an action associated with them.) i.e. DB = David Beckham as the person, playing football as the action, or a football as an object

Do you use a list of people, actions, and objects that are assigned to each cubie, or do you make them up as you go (different ones for each solve)?

I'd definitely recommend making a list, then as soon as an image comes up, you instantly know what letters it is.

If you make up images to go with letters during each solve, then you'll have different images for the same letters and this can be very confusing.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! I'm still a bit confused with how the list would work, however. Would I make a Person, object, and action for each cubie or each sticker?

Edit: Can someone explain (basically) how I would use this in conjuction with M2/OP?

How could this work if I don't have enough people?

My question pertains to 4BLD centers:

Is there a special case pertaining to the UBL and UFR top center pieces? Do I just perform the UBL and UFR algorithms regardless of where those letters occur in the particular letter pair?

I'm in the early stages of learning 4BLD and am having a bit of trouble with the centers. I was wondering if they were similar to the UF / DB (or FU / BD) edge pieces in 3BLD, in the sense that you perform the 'opposite' algorithm when that particular letter occurs in the 2nd half of your letter pair.

Thanks!

You're absolutely correct, if they are the 2nd letter in your letter pair you perform the opposite alg.

Well, he was talking about memoing cubies (of wwhich there are 24), so 24 people isnt that much.

Id seriously just recommend using a lettering scheme and just having an object for every letter pair - this sounds just as hard, but many people (like chris hardwick) have already done this and so you can use that. I do.
