Look, I like your idea here, but you do NoT need to know full OLL to be sub-20. And he does not need to go through an algorithm sheet. Or even know how to use look-ahead.
Listen, @SteelyTheCuber, you just have to learn how to do advanced F2L fast and full PLL. Then go through some vids on how to do finger tricks for F2L. THEN you do about 500-1000 slow solves to drill what you learned and 1000-2000 times solves to see how much forward progress you have made. Only then have you broken your curse.

GenTheThief is a respected member of this community. His suggestion is certainly good, too. Remember, there are many paths to success.

I mean you also don't need more than like 3 algs to get sub-10 with LBL

I’m just going to tell you to learn PLL as soon as possible. PLL alone brought my average down significantly, and I was already averaging 18 when I finished learning it. Like zzoomer said, be confident with your F2L pairs, and find better solutions for the ones that you’re doing very inefficiently. Also, don’t be afraid of algs that have slice moves!

or just use Petrus

Be confident with pair choices and solutions. If necessary, find better solutions for cases you do inefficiently. This is a prerequisite to lookahead.
Full OLL and PLL is not necessary to be sub 20, but will definitely be useful in the long run. It's better to learn these sets early on.
I agree with this, make sure your f2l solutions are efficient, that will probably mean looking at an f2l algsheet. Lookahead will come with good practice and efficiency. Make sure you're planning cross in inspection, and that its taking under 8 moves on average. Full pll will definitely help and you should learn it as soon as you can.

My Average is 27 seconds and my pb is 24. My cross on bottom is 4-8 seconds. My F2l is 10-13. I know algs for 80% of cases. I do 2 look oll and pll. Can someone tell me what to focus on now and which algs to learn. Thanks!

In terms of algs, go for full PLL next, it's definitely worth it at this stage. From your splits, you should try to improve your cross. Try to plan all, if not at least 3 of your cross pieces in inspection every time, as it greatly reduces pausing time in the solve. For F2L, you say you have learned algs for it, which means you have either learned intuitive F2L and then moved on to more advanced cases, or you just jumped straight into algs. Whatever is the case, try to understand how the algs work in terms of pairing up the pieces, then inserting them. F2L is where basically everyone has the most room for improvement all the time, so keep that in mind.
(Also I'm in the UK and your first post was at 5 AM, and other people have different time zones or things to be doing, so please don't bump a post after an hour, as it is likely that people were not able to get to it yet)
Edit: the original thread has moved here, ignore the bit in brackets

which cases would be the best to learn first?

So since you use 2 look you already know:
Ua, Ub, H, Z
I don't know what algs you use to swap corners, so I'll just assume you don't know any (even though you do) to make it easier. You should learn
Ja, Jb, T, Y first as they all are similar to each other and are very common.
From there it is your choice really. I would probably do A perms after that, then the rest is up to you. Also, don't neglect G perms, they are very common

would focusing on g perms be more viable. I know it is hard but I see them a lot and I think it would be worth it to learn them.

yea, there are 4 of them so they're quite common. it's worth it to learn every pll, just focus on learning good algs and fingertricks for each, speed will come with practice

So I have the gan 12 maglev and i average mid 19s with intuitive f2l (with a couple of algs) and full pll and about 25 olls (currently learning more, I know I don't need to right now, but I want to) my best single is a 14.07 and my best average is 17.84, i want to be averaging sub 18 consistently, what should I work on now besides improving lookahead?

Make sure you could solve cross in 8 moves or less every time
Play with F2L and learn new ways to connect and insert pairs from different angles
Finish learning full OLL

For global sub18 you will need around 3-4 TPS on average. You don't need to turn fast, just work on your look ahead and you will get it soon

okay thanks, i can already do cross under 8 moves but i'll experiment with f2l and work on lookahead

A good video is that from Brian sun (one of his latest videos), but even though he uses rotationless algs, they're not as good from the back.

However you can find multiple algorithms for every angle on SpeedcubeDB: https://speedcubedb.com/
(There are other websites like that, but I use that because it's clean, has lot of alg sets and thousands of useful solve reconstructions)

I am trying to get more efficient with F2L. At the moment I rotate the cube a lot and mostly do front left or front right insertions. When I watch other (better) cubers, I notice they almost don't need to rotate.

1. How can I learn when it is useful to rotate the cube and when it is better not to? For example, for the same basic insert, at speedcubedb F' U' F is mentioned, but at cubeskills y' R' U' R is mentioned.
2. How can I best learn to pair up from (and insert in) the back?
3. Is it normal it takes a long time to recognize how to pair up and how to insert in other slots in the beginning again? My times fly up when I try not to rotate like crazy.

Hi, i am using beginner cfop with 2 look oll and 2 look pll. But i cant seem to get any faster. What should i do?

I average around 30 seconds and my pb is 21 seconds but I just can’t get sub 20 so I’m just seeing if anyone has tips or tricks I use cfop btw also if you couldn’t tell I’m talking about 3x3
