what does ao5, 12 or mo3 mean?

I've been wondering this for some time and feel kind of dumb for not being able to find the answer. could someone tell me this?

Ao5 = Average of 5
Ao12 = Average of 12
Mo3 = Mean of 3

The difference between average and mean is that "average" in cubing means to remove the fastest and slowest few times (usually 5% rounded up) and then take the mean of all remaining times, whereas for "mean" you just take the mean of all the times.

Oh. I read the month wrong.

I'm so close to being able to solve square 1. But does anybody know of an easy way to do te adjacent edge parity?

How do I start a scramble?

Okay, I know this isn't really that important but it's just a pet peeve of mine, how do I start to scramble a cube, well like what position ex: white facing toward me, red facing towards me. It's just something that seemed to bother me so if anyone can help that would be awesome!

4d1) NxNxN puzzles and Megaminx are scrambled beginning with the white face (if not possible, then the lightest face) on top and the green face (if not possible, then the darkest adjacent face) on the front.

What are the differences between the different versions of the limcube dual 3x3s?

Obviously, the V1.0 has a different color scheme, but other than that?image.jpg

This question probably belongs in this thread. I could have sworn I stumbled across an online cube store that offered used cubes. Perhaps I was hallucinating. Either way I didn't bookmark it. It would be cool if so because I could imagine sending in puzzles to them and at least getting some store credit. I realize there's a "marketplace" area here too, but does anyone know if the online store I'm describing is actually a thing?
