You can't just order it online? Like you would with Lubix?
Yes, but a 10$ bottle of Traxxas will cost around $25-30 because no online sites ship to India, so they have to pay for customs and all that stuff. Lubix or Calvin's Lube is easily available because they ship to India and 10ml Lubix cost around $20.
EDIT: Traxxas is cheaper with customs. it costs around Rs 800 $(16) and is 50cc when compared to Lubix which costs Rs 700 fro 2.5cc. Traxxas pwns Lubix. How long does Traxxas 50K last once lubed though?

How Many Times A YEAR Do You Have To Lube A 3X3

I have recently brought the Dayan Zanchi 3x3 and lubed it straight away. I use Draper SIlicone Lubricant at the moment and I wonder if it might dissolve the plastic if I use it to much. Oh, and while I'm here how do I get rid of the 'springy' sounds from the Zanchi? I losened the tensions but it only worked for some.

I'm not sure about the dissolving plastic thing but most silicone sprays (at least in my experience) won't dissolve the plastic too much. As for the springy noise, just lube the core and that should eliminate the sound.

Thanks for replying, Do you suggest taking the core compleaty apart or just spraying it on?

You need to take it apart because each center piece will have a screw, spring, and washer, and the spring noise is cause by the spring catching on the washer, meaning the washer needs lube (under and above). It's hard to get to that without taking it apart.

I cannot find any Traxxas 50K. They are out of stock. So can I buy team associated. They are in CST. What CST should I buy. Here they have 3000CST, 2000 CST, 7000 CST, 1000Cst, 5000CST and etc.
Which cst to buy is my question now? I wished to buy 30K and 50K traxxas but it is not available. So tell me the cst accordingly!

50000cst is equal to traxxas 50k. The viscosities you list are very watery, and will act more like maru lube than 50k.

3x3 feels strange after cleaning

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I cleaned my Yj (Moyu) Sulong. I got it 3 weeks ago and I was very pleased. It felt "crunchy" and really easy to turn. But yesterday i decided to clean it as i saw it was getting dirty in the inside. I cleaned every single corner and edge. When I put it back together it felt very different. Very resistant but smooth. Not the crunchy and fast that it was before. I cleaned it a couple of times before but nothing like this happened... I have cleaned it a couple of times again since this happened and i lubed it as well but it was never the same.

Is there a way to fix it?

Thanks in advance :)

I had the same quite a while back with the Fangshi ShuangRen. I was never able to get it to the full speed it once had, but I did something that helped a bit. I got a pot of water and put it on my stove to let it heat up, of course. I didn't want it to get boiling, though. I put the individual pieces in (except the core and screws. Nobody wants a rusty cube). I then put dish soap and stirred it thoroughly for around 5 minutes. When I took it out, I dried it, making sure to get every last water drop out. There's a chance that there will still be a small amount of gunk left, but it should be very easy to clean off at that point. Oh, and by the way, the water won't screw up the stickers, provided you have at least decent quality stickers.

I do have another cube I've been meaning to do this process on. When I do, I'll try to change the process a bit, and report any successes here.

Did you clean and lube the core? I have found that if you don't do that your cube will get start to loose its "top speed" until you clean it out

Yeah I completely cleaned it. Took every single piece out including the core and washed everything except the spring and the screws. It still is very sluggish and hard to turn but thanks anyway :)

I have cleaned the pieces with hot water in the sink but i never put them on the stove with hot water. I guess I will try it anyway since this is the only speedcube I have. But it is really strange since this happened after cleaning the cube so gunk shouldn't be causing it anyway.
