Really?
could maru lube and calvin lube work on big cubes? and if yes how?
is calvin same as lubix?
Do people still use CRC silicone spray?
Only people that dont know any better, dont have the option to buy shipped products or dont have any hobby shops close to where they live that sell diff oil.
In short no. It's not great for speed and can ruin a cube.

CRC is like Beer. A little is great, but too much makes you slow and impressionable for a while.
It's like the whole world of everything that I ever knew about speedcubing has been flipped upside down in this past half hour. Thanks.
Do they mix in the cube? If yes, then it probably works in a syringe. Just because maru lube is in there, probably not. The cubesmith lubes should mix and lubix/cubemith might mix but you should only put maru lube in the cube and not in the syringe.
Translation of the question: do lubix, maru lube, cubesmith high viscosity lube, and cubesmith low viscosity lube work WELL if mixed in a syringe?
will mixing maru lube after lubricating a puzzle with lubix or calvin lube ( as shown on crazy bad cuber's channel or lubix cube channel) or just buying a lubix cube overlube your puzzle. if no how long will the maru lube lube last
Maru lube is used as steroids only. It wears out very fast but makes the cube very fast as well. People use Maru to make personal bests and at competitions. Also Maru only works great on bigger cubes like 4x4 or bigger. A regular 3x3 does not need anything else except high viscosity differential oil.
If you want the best possible outcome you need the following stuff:
30k and 50k weight differential oil, 200 cSt shock oil.
Use 50k diff oil to all the hardwares of any puzzles. This means the washers, screws, springs and center pieces.
You can also use 50k on 3x3 puzzle pieces, it makes it kinda gummy though.
You can use 30k wt diff oil on 3x3 puzzle pieces, but it can be too fast and uncontrollable.
Personally I use a 1:1 ratio mixture of 50k and 30k for my 3x3 pieces, which works fine.
For 4x4 and 5x5, lube core with 50k, lube pieces with a little of 1:1 50K/30K mixture and drop some shock oil in.
For 6x6 and bigger lube the core with 50k and add shock oil on the pieces.
thanks a lot for the big answer but the main problem is that is i live in india and cannot get diff oil but i can only get calvin lube and maru from some indian online stores so i was planing to get some high viscosity calvin lube and put in my zhanchi instead of lubix. would that work? i cannot find any shock oil in india either and i would appreciate if you could tell me if there are some indian websites which have shock oil. another thing was that cyoubx mentined in one of his vids that you shouldnt take apart shengshou products as the screws might get ruined. i was wondering if that is true and it happens often and if there is a good video on lubing a big cube core or is it the same thing as a 3x3x3 core?
Thanks again![]()
