Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has had the issue that happens with maru lube (
)
the lube sounds great though.

obviously, lubricants generally do not last forever and there is likely to be some residue but I would recommend that you just use DNM-37 unless you want to invest in angstrom lubes (they make your cube much better but require you to still use DNM-37 regularly)

Haven't picked up cubing in years. Wanna get back into it, have too much free time on my hands. Last time I lubed any of my cubes was probably back in early 2018 or late 2017 because, I was bored and had nothing to do. Should I relube my cube?

I bought Aolong GT from ChampionsCubeStore 2 years ago. It was fast and smooth but now it is not. So I need a lube. I want to buy new cubes but I can't buy from cubicle or speedcubeshop because of shipping. Shipping cost is about 25$ which is too expensive for me. Champions cube store is not selling lube. What should I do? Is there a shop which sells lube with low shipping cost?

Thanks

It’s really important to know which continent you live in. Aside from that, I would recommend buying lube with something else to make it worthwhile. I might just get another cube anyway; the aolong gt is kind of old, but if you need to just get lube there are many local stores. Where are you located? I really don’t want to seem intrusive, but it’s important to know to point you in the right direction.

If you want to buy from another Chinese store, LightTake is a good option: https://m.lightake.com/search/Lube.html
They don’t have Cubicle or speedcube shop lubes but their lubes do work.

Closer to you is Cut Corner Cubes in Ukraine, they have lube also. You might want to buy your cubes from there instead so you don’t have to have multiple orders. https://cutcorner.com.ua/en/
I think they have their own special lube because they’re a dedicated cube store. I don’t know how much shipping is though.

I think your AoLong GT may have just died. This happens when a cube is used enough that it becomes very broken in, to the point where it becomes worse.
You could try to get your hands on something like Traxxas 50k, perhaps. You can get that on Amazon.com if they ship to you.

Anyone know if GoodCube 1PCS Lubricating Maru Cube Oil Magic Cube is a good lube I put it in my cart on Amazon but not sure if I'm gonna get it anyone have it and know if it's good

So i was messing around with a trumpet in my house and a valve got stuck. I put some valve oil in it and thought of putting it in a cube. It made my dead overlubed Valk M fast again and made my GTS2 incredibly smooth and quiet. Just sharing this for future experimentation by other cubers.

Funny you mention that, I’ve put trombone slide grease in my cubes, it made them slightly uncontrollable and smooth.
