Hello all! I'm new to the forums and I've been reading a lot of posts via google search. I have a medium sized syringe of Lubix and I've been using it for all my small puzzles for 4 months now. I've got to say, the product is awesome. However, living in Finland (shipping cost) and adding the price tag I've come to the conclusion that Lubix is not quite worth the price for me and I've been looking for alternative lubes.
I recently ordered a 50cc bottle of Traxxas 50k wt differential oil, as I've heard it's pretty close to Lubix. Based on what I've read the 50k solution is somewhat slower and stickier than Lubix, and 30k is faster than Lubix. This leaves me with the impression, that Lubix is differential oil with a viscosity of something between 30 to 50k. I'm assuming it's around 40-43k. I searched some and found this calculator:

To achieve say 42K viscosity one would then have to mix 66% 50K diff oil and 34% 30K diff oil. Has anyone tested this out? How easy is it to mix differential oils of different viscosity levels in the first place? Do you just pour them into a container and stir them with a stick?
