i just wanted to know how fast can u get with intuitive f2l
Really, there is no limit. Most of the F2L used in records is intuitive. You don't really need to learn any algorithms to use in F2L unless you have cases that you can't solve quickly or efficiently.

I'm using the beginners method: what can you recommend, algorithmic or intuitive F2L and what source did you get it from, also should I just learn Roux?

Intuitive F2L is better for understanding the cube, but using F2L algorithms are WAY more efficient. I've have heard a lot of cubers say that (and I agree just from practicing). If you decide to use algs for your F2L, I have made a PDF of what I think are the best F2L algs for inserting into the Right Front slot. I will link it for you. Feel free to ask more questions!

Agreed best way to learn F2L

I learnt F2L from JPerm's intuitive F2L video.

However, I do recommend switching to Roux as soon as you can. I'm just now starting to switch to Roux and it would benefit if you do it now (that is if you want to do the method, but I think it's the best method out there).

Am I nuts or is there a typo in Case #1? Shouldn't it be U R U' R'?

Learning F2L: How long should it take for my times to lower?
I was just wondering how long it will take for my times to get back to where they were and then lower because I just learned F2L and my times now stink!

Were you doing the beginner approach before? If yes, give it a couple of days and your times will drastically improve. But i would recommend not timing your solves for a little while, just play around with pairing the pieces together in different ways.

Not the answer you're looking for, I know, but: it takes as long as it takes. People have varying innate ability, some can practice more than others, etc. You developed habits that you need to break and you're learning new ones that need to be established. Practice, think about specific things that currently slow you down and give specific attention to them, and you will end up much faster than you were with beginners' method.

Like any new skill, it's all a matter of practice in order to become proficient at it. You can't expect to learn how to play the piano in one day and hope to become a virtuoso the next. It all takes time. The mindset and techniques used to solve F2L is quite a big shift from the beginner's method will take a bit to adjust to and get used to. The time would be variable between different people, it all depends on how well you truly understand how F2L works. It could take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. Just keep at it and don't give up, it'll all pay off in the end!

So yeah... My intuitive F2L is pretty bad. I know how to practise lookahead, but I would like to practise the F2L efficiency more. Does anyone have a good video tutorial for that?

EDIT: Just broke a new record of 26.55 seconds due to the ridicilously easy F2L cases I got there.

Hello,
I'm not sure if I should post in this part of forum but I think the question I have can be answered quickly.
So I've learn the basic intuitive F2L and then moved on to PLL. Now that I've finished learning PLL, I've gotten to sub-20 (most of the time, I still get 20s+ solves). Now my question is, how can I learn advanced F2L algs? I'm not sure how to properly do it. I've seen JPerm's F2L videos and downloaded his F2L guide with 71 (if I'm not wrong) cases but I don't think F2L is something you can just drill and get down.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance :D
