Is it regular to get stuck at sub-15 avg? I've been sub-15 from the past 5 months.... I'm not improving at all! :( any tips?

P.S I don't know full OLL. I know about 30 cases I think!

1-3 cross, 5-9 F2L, 3-5 LL
Usually 2 sec cross, 8 sec f2l, 4 sec ll

Your cross time could definitely be shaved down a bit, as well as your F2L.

What helped me solve cross faster was to memorize all the moves and then try to solve it blindfolded as fast as possible. F2L is probably just about knowing some of the harder cases and looking ahead, so watching example solves and turning slower should help that. Last layer is all about turn speed and pattern recognition, so I can't really tell you how to improve that

Here are my splits

Cross 3-4 Seconds
F2L 9 Seconds
OLL 4 Seconds
PLL 2 Seconds

What needs most working on?

I'd also say cross. I'm a bit slower than you but on my best solves cross is usually under 2 seconds. I'd say even in bad ones, actually solving the cross rarely exceeds 2.5-3 seconds, the problem being the 2-3 seconds I then spend looking around for my 1st pair. So cross-to-F2L transition can also be the problem, like in my case, depending on how you are taking your splits (right after you finish cross or right before starting to work on your 1st F2L pair).

How do you move your fingers on the rubik's cube faster?

I have been cubing for 10 months now and I average around 17 seconds and I know all of OLL and PLL but I can't get any faster. Is it looking ahead or is it getting your fingers to move faster?

Do you know full OLL
and look ahead is important for cross and F2L
and tps for last layer

So here are my splits(WITH inspection on the OLL and PLL):

Cross: 2 seconds
F2L: 9 seconds
OLL: 1.5 seconds
PLL: 2.2 seconds

But here are my splits with no pre-inspection for OLL and PLL:

Cross: 2 seconds
F2L : 9 seconds
OLL: 4.5 seconds
PLL: 6 seconds

Obviously my LL recognition is horrible and it's the main reason I'm not consistently sub-18. Are there any practices or exercises I can do to improve my recog?

I don't want to know, what specifically i have to practice, I just want to get the following question answered.

Does pure solving improves you?

Sounds like a stupid one but after 7 Months, I'm around 18 secs. I'm not stucked or something, I just wanted to knew if it would be better to train something specifically or to do as much solves as possible.
ATM i do around 100 3x3 solves daily.
