I don't think ll recognition is bad. It is just alg speed. How can I improve that? Lookahead is pretty bad. I am going to work on that.

I'd work on full OLL.They actually aren't that hard because it is a lot of inverses and repetition. F2L is something that takes time and a lot of solves. OLL is more memorization and finger tricks. You'll need the F2L, but it is a lot easier to see improvement through OLL.

I'm at about 90-95% OLL and I average about 25. Do you really like doing 2LOLL? Why wouldn't you just keep going? Time doesn't really matter, it's more how much you want to bite off.

I am around 21 second averages, almost sub 20,. I learned all 41 F2l algs(i'm not very good at intuition), my cross is around 2-4 seconds, and I know 2 look oll and full pll. My cross+f2l is around 12 seconds/13 seconds, but my 3 look LL really sucks. My PLL algs range from my U perms(sometimes sub 1) to my Nb(3.8 seconds!) How should I get faster?

Is there an advantage to algorithm f2l? I think I am going to learn all of them or at least the nasty ones.
@Ajayd: your pll doesn't suck, mine does. G and N perms can take 4+ seconds. I can u perm in sub-2 though.

there's an advantage in finding potentially more efficient ways to handle cases taht you might not have thought to do before. But doing a set algorithm for each case is not good, because doing it intuitively halps with better understanding of what's going on with the algorithm, and because most of those algorithm's you'd figure out intuitively anyway

Don't feel that just because you have learnt those Algs for pll you have to use them. With your really slow ones they clearly arent right for you. Look on the wiki for Algs that ate better for your style, then repeat them over and over.

Thanks. I'll look for some good N perms... How good should my cross be for sub 15? And also, should I learn intuitive f2l.

I am at step 3: 30-39 sec avg (low 30's). My f2l including cross is ~20-25 sec. LL is about 10. I know full pll and 2LOLL. How can I improve? And don't just say practice. What should I practice?

I am not the type of person to just tell you to practice, but honestly just solving can do a lot for your times. The reason people tell you to just practice is because if your sup 30 seconds using the method you are currently using, you are just not very comfortable with your method yet. It took me 4 months to get sub 30 and I knew full OLL and PLL then. It literally just takes practice to become comfortable with your solves and method. The best thing you can do at your speed besides just solving is making sure your algs are good, trying to lookahead and learning to recog your cases quicker which comes from practice. Also, and this is very important. NEVER MOVE ANYTHING ON THE CUBE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT AND WHY YOU ARE DOING IT. So many people at your speed do a multitude of unnecessary moves and cube rotations. Even if it takes you an entire minute, do not move the cube until you have a plan. Practicing this will help you to think ahead and eventually lookahead better while at the same time promoting good habits and best pair choice.

I did an ao12 of each step:
Cross: 3.98
F2L: 15.05 (didn't really look ahead except like three solves)
OLL: 5.96 (2-look)
PLL: 5.21 (full, half were bad cases (Gs, Ns, and V))
Which should I work on most?

Time each PLL individually, probably doing at least an ao5 for each (don't do it all in one sitting if your wrists are prone to cubing-related pain ). Once you've finished, list of all the PLLs in a text file somewhere (or a post here, whatever) in order from fastest to slowest. Then take the PLL at the slow end of the list and drill it until it's no longer the slowest. Rinse and repeat until you feel that you're getting more comfortable with your "bad" PLLs. At some point you'll likely get a PLL that you just can't seem to get fast enough, which is usually a good sign that you either need a different alg, or at least need to ask somebody fast about different ways to fingertrick the alg you have.

When timing OLL's and PLL's, do I include recognition?
Well, I just did an a012 for all aspects, including inspection.
I think I had a bad day, but here it is:(These are all from the Prisma Puzzle Timer scrambles, and the crosses are extremely easy.
Cross:1.11
F2L:13.89 with cross
OLL:2.73
PLL:2.85
Total(F2L+LL):19.47 seconds.
Also, my F2L=13.89 seconds, and my LL is 5.58 seconds
This shows that I need F2L help right? And also, I inspected the LL case before solving, so I guess the recog would make it slightly more, but I know that my recog is decent. Any tips from this average?

Where should i improve on
Average 23.48
Cross 2.59
F2L 11.59
LL 8.12

I know full Pll and learning oll should i improve on my f2l first or first learn full oll

2 look oll 4.97
Pll 3.58

I don't think full pll should take an average of 3.5 seconds to complete so thats a def area of improvement IMO. And f2l always can improve for people

the first step is full fridrich when you know fulll fridrich practise tose alghoritmes until you can do every singel alghoritmes in sub 2 seconds
then get guhong v2 zanchi and\or a wit you and a witlong wich one you like the most that one wil be youre main cube
and after you should learn coll
