14 algs. Each pair of letters gets associated with one of the algs (I learn an alg-set at a time so that's easy), a rotation, and whether it's the inverse/mirror/both. See here. I'm learning for UBL buffer though rather than UBR

Same, I generated all my algs/comms with buffer from UBL during late 2010 but never got around learning them very much haha. I think you use letter pairs for corners, iirc? Do you associate a commutator/cycle (2 letters) with a letter pair image?

4BLD center commutator: Ulb > Flu > Dlf?

I would do this: D2 setup, now centers on U and D are interchangeable. The non interchanging piece has to go to Dlf, so r F2 r' interchange first. Then b2 slice, then r F2 r' again to get Ulb to Flu, b2 slice and undo D2 setup. Hope it helps.

Marcell showed the fastest alg.
If you don't know the notation, the alg is D U r2 U' l' U r2 U' l D'
Short explanation: With a D-move Ulb and Flu are interchangeable.

I will start a 4BLD center-speed-optimal-alg-list in about 10 days. I will probably open a new Wiki-page, so everybody can see and help.

So what is the best way to get good at 3x3 BLD? Do you just literally do solve after solve, or is there way to practise and get better at it quicker E.G:(like using metronome for 3x3 speedsolve to improve F2L lookahead)??? Basically is there a good pratising method or something????
Btw i use OP and averaging 8 mins-ish and just started a week ago :/

Responses would be appreciated :)

Back in january you wanted to know some tips and tricks about how to get faster with m2/op. Basicly, make it a habit to practice a bit every day. And know your algs, memory system, and color scheme cold. A way I practice sometimes is to just do the memo of a scrambles as fast as i can and then check that i was right with a sighted solve.

Just do solve after solve until you start to have DNF streaks then take a break. Strain your brain 'till failure, rest, repeat.

Be completely familiar with your memo scheme.
To improve execution - try to learn which letter pair needs which algorithm (if you do some 3cycle), and just practice it to be faster. Try too "look-ahead", to find setup moves needed for next piece while solving the current.
To improve memo - practice tracking, recognition and actual memo.
So first, try to just track cycles, see what cycle would it be, without any letters or memo, just seeing which piece needs to go where...
Seconds, do tracking + saying letters, so you practice recognition.
Third, do actual memo of the cube.
This kind of practice improved my memo very fast, and it dropped from 35-45 to 17-23 in 2-3 weeks. Hope this helps. :)
