I don't know what memo method he teaches, but I'd recommend doing EM, CM, CE, EE (M=memo, E=execution) because then you can use the very powerful audioloop technique for corners. Some sort of letters/images system should work well for edges.

He meant

Edge memo, Corner Memo, Corner Execution, Edge Execution

Ah ok thanks. Yeah, I tried that after posting the question and my PB suddenly went from 6:30ish to 3:47 :D

I guess my next question is: I kind of understand this audiolooping technique for corners now, but is it something along the lines of: You have a letter for every corner sticker, and for every possible combination you have a 1 syllable sound? If so, what lettering scheme should I use? And are there any good tutorials for this?

That's one way to do it. Zane uses this.
I couldn't be bothered to learn a preset list so I just string together the sound of all the letters into a nonsensical jumble of noise and that's my audioloop. Example:
*scrambles cube* Ok, so this scramble has the letters MCORSPF. Say that. There's you go, you can pull the blindfold on while you say that over again in your head and keep saying it in your head while you solve.

Lol for some reason thats really easy to remember, and once you've remembered it you can instantly do it once you've put the blindfold on. that'll probably work a bit better than tapping the corners and saying the first letter of the colour of the sticker. What lettering scheme do you use for corners?

That was a fairly easy one - the tricky ones are where there's 9 or 10 consonants in a row :p
I use a letter scheme that I 'made up myself' i.e. not one that has a name. Just pick one that's logical and you'll be fine. In fact, just use Speffz because then you'll never have problems trying to explain the scheme like I am right now.

I use OP for corners. Are there any "tricks" for rotating corners without having to perform two algs? I will eventually be learning BH, but am looking for an easy way to shave off a few seconds until I feel that I am ready to take on that task.

I actually was just thinking I was going to learn more algs for that. Right now, I use:
Sexy sexy L' Sexy' Sexy' L -- UBL CCW, UFL CW
Sexy' sexy' L' Sexy Sexy L -- UBL CW, UFL CCW

And just setup my two corners to be rotated to be in UBL and UFL.

Righty sune, Lefty sune
Righty antisune (R U2 R' U' R U' R' ) LEFTY ANTISUNE L' U2 L U L' U' L

The different variations of that (Inverses and such)

That's a prime example of me not applying things I already know. :( I actually use the same algs for fixing parity with the belt method... I didn't even think about generalizing those algs into BLD... Thanks guys, stupid me

Wiki! [wiki]Corner orientation[/wiki]

With OP, since I'm shooting to LDF anyway I use these algs for rotating corners:
CW: U2 R L U L' U L U2 R' L' U' R U' R'
CCW: R U R' U R L U2 L' U' L U' R' L' U2

Here are a couple more algs if you have two corners in the same layer:
T: R' U R U2 R' U2 R' U' R U' R' U2 R U2 R U
L: R U2 R' U2 R' U' R U R U' R' U2 R' U2 R
