I'm getting used to BH corners (the thing slowing me down the most is my memo, because I never used letters for corners (i did orient, permute, with numbers 1-8). I had to label every sticker, and most of the time I'm going through my abc's while solving.
anyway, right now I'm just doing some corners only solves with bh, while looking. Then I start solving 1 or 2 cycles bld (again, it's pretty slow because of the new letters), and then 3. Is this a good way to practice? Is there anything else I can do, besides come across random cases?
Also, I noticed some of my corners end up twisted after I execute. This is because I don't know which way to insert a corner during a commutator, because the first piece is being inserted into the buffer zone, and I don't know which way to put it in, because the stickers don't match. When I'm blindfolded, I have to trace the sticker into it's place with my finger, to figure out which way to put it in.
ex.
Set up: D (R U R') D' (R U R') Pretend the buffer is URF
When I'm blindfolded, I can't tell if I should do R U R', or F' U' F.
It takes me a long to time to imagine the stickers moving while I'm blindfolded, and I just want to know if there's some way to learn this.
Remember: I am only memorizing (speffz) L to H (or C - L- H ). This is an easy case, but for A9's and other cases with cube rotations, I get confused.
