Ok,thx. That makes a sense. I'll try setuping different PLL'sLeave them swapped. Your edges will have parity. If you have UF buffer, at the end of your memo you will have a single edge target. Make the cycle UF-edge-UB. That will set up a Tperm for parity.
Or if you're smart about it, you can setup to a ZBLL case, or a different PLL.
The same approach can be used for DF buffer.
I use letter-pair images for edges and audio-pairs for the corners. Flipped edges are memorised visually.Okay I would like to know for those who use letter pairs to memo. Do you use letter pairs for corners and edges, edges only, or corners only.
What form of letter-pair memo are you using? Because letter-pairs can be used in a variety of ways.I'm currently using letter pairs for edges and visual for corners, but visual is very unhelpful for me. Could someone list a few easy memo methods? Or should I use letter pairs for the whole cube and how do I distinguish the stories? Thanks~
Obviously varies massively between people, partly depending on how naturally talented you are (especially on the memo side of things). But I can say, that with OP and M2 you're going to have to turn pretty fast to get sub1. Either that, or turn moderately fast and have 10 second memo. Unless you already have crazy tps, I'd suggest learning 3-style (speed optimised BH) corners to help you on your way if you're actually serious about averaging sub1.Q2:
How will my times improve depending on the length of the time spent daily practicing bld? I mean, what's approximate period of time after which I should have bld times below 1minute, if practicing, lets say - 45mins/day?

Letter-pair images: 2 letters are used to create the one image.
Letter-pair words: 2 letters are used to create the one word. These words are used to construct sentences, your letter-pair images can be used as words in sentences.
Audio pairs:
2 letters are used to create the 1 sound/word. Audio memo can be incredibly fast, because the idea isn't to make the memo coherent. The purpose of audio memo is to remember the sound of the memo, it doesn't have to make sense. The problem with audio memo is it's very short term, but this issue can be eliminated by memorising the corners last and executing them first. Monosyllable sounds/words are nice to use, as it reduces the amount of syllables you have to remember.
Sounds become really easy to make, whenever you have 2 consonants, you can just add a random vowel in-between as a filler.
Example: FI+RD+GE+LR = "FI RoD Gee LeR"
Letter-pair images are words/names that can be visualised.Currently, I'm using Letter-pair words but I would like to know what do you mean by letter pair "images"? I'm not too entirely sure what it is. Thanks for telling me about the audio pairs! I hope that I'll eventually be able to do blind consistently... I've only had one success so far XP..
Thanks!By the way, CONGRATULATIONS on the Multi-Blind WR!
To further enhance the memorability, it helps if the image interactions are really disturbing. Profanity is your best friend with image methods. :tu
My 2pass is just basically memoing the cube twice. Not a fast review. It was costing me nearly 15 seconds just with that. However delays are tacking a bit of time back on there...
Don't memo twice. Do a fast review. Really fast.
That doesn't matter, you don't need a good memory, you just need a good memory method.Let me put this straight forward. I just suck at memory.
The good thing is you have a lettering scheme, now you just have to use the letters effectively.but i still use letters. Like generally a 8 move long string for corners and 12-14 for edges.
NO.Should i just keep practising this thing till i get fast at it?
Yes, you certainly need to put together a nicer memory system. 26 bits of information is the absolute most you'll ever have to memorise.Or should i switch my method to something else where i dont need to memorise 26 alphabets.
Other people can recommend methods, but only you can tell what works best for you.Just let me know what memo and method will be the best for me.
