If your shock oil it too thick (like my 32wt) it will always slow down the cube.

Just use one drop, if it's still bad, your shock oil is probably too thick for you.

Personally I don't like shock oil. I perfer the spray lubes. (Well in my Ghosthand anyway).

How thick viscosity should i get

Hey guys, I've heard from a couple people that CRC "eats" your cube away after awhile, is this true?

Edit:
Okay thank you!

not really depends on how you use it If you spray it in then work the lube it will. but if you pray it in then let it dry it will somewhat glue parts together but its not that purment its easy to fix it. but the best way to use it is desasemble the puzzle and lay the parts on newspaper then spray and let dry then reassemble the puzzle.

Edit:
Okay thank you!

Your welcome i have been using it for like 2.5 years

Hi, I've just got my first dayan zanchi cube, dissasembled and rebuilt/lubed it with puzl silcone as per the youtube video by crazybadcuber
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4paID_54lQ&list=FLJLlxNBkyl5scXwThcWDE9Q
I am just checking as it didnt seem like a lot of lube went into the inside of the cube (see 13:55 and 14:25), most of the emphasis was on the face pieces.

My cube moves ok'ish but it's a bit stiff, the side seem to have a lot of frictions . Might be a tensioning problem? Also when I try to cut about 45degrees the face covers pop off, is that usual?
Thanks

Lube

What is the second best lube after lubix. I think lubix is too expensive, so I would like to know a better lube or second best.

I personaly use trident diving lubricant, which is pure silicone grease. Works very well for cubes.

Calvin's Silcone Lube

it should be
they're both basically just high viscosity silicone lubricant. so is differential oil, which you can buy also but even cheaper, just minus the lubix/calvin's brand name.
