Hey guyz,

I have a quick question. I'm looking for a diff. oil for my 3x3 Zhanchi. I live in Sydney and cant really find some traxxas 50k or ofna 50k... However i have found GS Racing Pure Silicone Diff. Oil 50000.

Here's the link:

My question is, is this the same or very similar to traxxas or ofna? Will it be just as awesome?

Thanks!

That's what I have. I race R/C trucks (Losi Nitro all the way) and I can promise you it is all the same, you are really buying the name when you buy traxxas or losi diff fluid

I have 50 and 10. 50 is comparable to lubix, and the 10 is still a bit heavier than say Izolube. I would go for the 10k, though don't overuse it. So, when used sparingly, very well worth the money when you need a lighter version :)

Which Silicone Diff Fluid of Losi's should I buy?

Most of the speedcuber who uses diff oil suggesting to buy Traxxas 50k wt diff oil. But my local hardware store has diff oil of Losi's. I want to try that. Only problem is they categorize their diff fluid in terms of "cs" like 20k cs, 50k cs where Traxxas uses "wt". Can anyone suggest me which of the Losi's diff fluid will be a better choice to buy? I am giving link to their product page below.

The CS stands for Consistency, as in how thick it is. Find some 50,000cs lube, its the same as 50k wt lube

What lube i most worth getting that is not to expensive? I mean lube that is good like pure silicone like lubix, lubicle, or other sort of "top notch" lubes like izolube or calvin lube or things of that nature?

Do they really have that kind of lube there? I thought they only had oil and stuff.... Thanks!

yes they only have differential oil. I highly recommend Traxxas. In either 10k, 30k, or 50k depending on the kind of feel you want. 50k is like lubix and 30k is thinner then 50k but the 10k is much thinner than 30k or 50k.

Thanks! Is Traxxas 50k really like lubix? Is it gummy and then smooth and fast? Or at least just fast? I kind of like gummy...
