Two questions:

1. (Bump) - Does anyone know how Lubicle house lube compares with Lubix if you've used both?
2. If you keep the lube in the dispenser, does it ever dry out?
Assuming you get the medium viscosity they're the exact same thing. If you want my honest opinion just get shock oil and save yourself some money

Do l have to lube my cube, just got a dayan guhong version 2 today? I am not sure if it's important that you need to lube it or is it personal preference and you fine the way it is that came out of the box.

Typically, factory tensions aren't the best. You're best taking the cube apart, completely lubing it and then re-tensioning it to your preference. There are many Youtube lubrication tutorials.

Ah thankyou, if there anything wrong with the brand I bought though? It seems like everyone only uses Traxxas and no other company that makes diff oil. rcgarage doesn't sell Traxxas diff oil either.

Honestly i am no expert in this but as all of them are essentially the same thing then there won't be a noticeable difference between them. BTW Florian uses Reely diff oil.

Lube it.

CBC.

Lubing does not change the colour of the plastic. It makes no change to the look of the cube, but the turning is much nicer. CrazyBadCuber's lubing tutorial is pretty good, use that. Following it should not harm your stickerless ZhanChi in any way (as it is exactly the same as a normal ZhanChi - but without stickers).

i cant seem to find any lube such siliicone spray,lubix....etc....i used sewing machine oil and i noticed it was eating the inside....so i turned to cooking oil but it sticks.....what else can i use....graphite powder doesnt work???can i use bicycle grease???

Cooking Oil melts the cube too. Also I put shock oil in my guhongv2/zhanchi and my cubes (both) centre caps and screw/spring/washers are all brownish black.. and it kinda smells bad and looks disgusting.. D: :(
