Would someone please suggest a good setup move for handling the UL edge when it is flipped? I am starting with old pochmann and I can deal with the flipped edge however, I would rather use a setup move to maintain consistency.
L E' L or z U M' U z' are the shorter ones.

EDIT: Jaycee's is probably nicer. :P

When I used OP I used L d' L.

This setup works perfect, cubenovice yours worked as well, the Ld'L Jaycee suggested for setup appears to be a bit easier for me to use. Thanks again, i was previously swapping an edge with an l' setup then resolving which worked but led to mistakes.

When solving edges blindfolded with M2 (position and orientation at the same time). Is it better to solve flipped, but correctly positioned edges before or after the other edges?
If it helps answering. I memorize normal edges with letters and flipped edges visually.

You should solve flipped edges after the other edges. Because if flipped edges are the first edges you solve, you run the risk of flipping the buffer piece.

If you have an even number of edges that need to be flipped (excluding the buffer), it's fine to solve the flipped edges first. But I personally think leaving flipped edges until last is a good practice to get in to.

Well it's fine if when you have an odd number of flipped edges you flip the last one and the piece that actually belongs in the buffer position. That's what I do every time.

For M2, what do you do if the buffer is supposed to go to the target spot when the centers are flipped? The buffer is solved according to the corners but needs to go to the target position according to the centers. Just an M2?

If there are more unsolved edges, you have to break into a new cycle. If everything else is solved, you need to do parity.

Yes, I think Chris does this too. The reason I didn't mention this is because he asked a simple question and I didn't want to confuse him.

Hi. Anyone with lots of free time mind checking stuff for me. This scramble for 4BLD (lowercase = wide turns):
u D' F2 U2 D l b' d' B d' r2 f' U l2 b r F u2 L' U u2 L l B2 u' r' F2 d2 D L' b2 D' F' L2 R U' b R' F2 L
K. Imma type out the cycles I did, (centers), and I'm using Speffz, so,

Centers: IB UD EV FQ JM RH SW PK TG

IB: r F' [d2, r' U r] F r'
UD: r' D2 [l F2 l', b2] D2 r
EV: U [f L2 f', r2] U'
FQ: B [f U2 f', u'] B'
JM: R [r U r', u] R'
RH: B2 [r' U r, d'] B2
SW: [r' B2 r, b2]
PK: F [f' U2 f, d] F'
TG: L [r' U r, d'] L'

WHY OH WHY DO I END UP WITH a U-face center and a L-face center SWAPPED? ._. What did I do wrong? Someone care to enlighten me? Is it a mistake in the cycles or is it plain commutators fail? Super pissed as I have had many 30 mins+ DNFs. >_> Would be great if you guys could help, and thanks in advance. (:

Not your super awesome blue-red (;. Eric's white-red. Haha. Did you mean reorient? If so, I didn't reorient :O
Sorry that question was irrelevant, what I should've of asked is: Can you please label the buffers you're using for each cycle?
I first assumed it was A, but that doesn't go to I.

Is that your mistake? :P

He is using Buffer = A, and it goes to I. Maybe you just scrambled wrong.

u D' F2 U2 D l b' d' B d' r2 f' U l2 b r F u2 L' U u2 L l B2 u' r' F2 d2 D L' b2 D' F' L2 R U' b R' F2

Memo is correct.

IB: r F' [d2, r' U r] F r'
Correct, but way to many moves.
Use this comm: [l, F r' F'] (Executed as x [l, U r' U'] x')
or this: y' [l u l', U] y

UD: r' D2 [l F2 l', b2] D2 r
There is the mistake. The comm is for UC, not for UD. Use something like that: U [D r2 D', l2] U'

EV: U [f L2 f', r2] U'
Correct, but do a cube rotation like this: U y' x [r U2 r', d2] x' y U'

FQ: B [f U2 f', u'] B'
Correct but slow. Much better: L' [u, r' U2 r] L

JM: R [r U r', u] R'
Correct.

RH: B2 [r' U r, d'] B2
Correct.

SW: [r' B2 r, b2]
Corrcet, but much nicer with a rotation: x' [r' U2 r, u2] x

PK: F [f' U2 f, d] F'
Correct, better: R' [d', r U2 r'] R

TG: L [r' U r, d'] L'
Correct.

Here is the corrected version with some of my comms: http://tinyurl.com/alglFr-F-UDr2D
