Most people that solves corners first on big cubes just leaves two corners swapped (preferably UBR and URF), solves centers and AFTERWARDS solves corner parity. Some even waits until after edges, so that memo is as fresh as possible. But it's easy to forget them that way..

Also, remember that 2xT-perm makes a U2 on U-center, so you have to know how many T-perms you do, not only if it's odd/even.

You don't need to switch methods. You can sub1 with that method. I have. I switched to comms though (corners only, for now) but that method is still fast

ok but if I want to do sub 50-40?

I try to count the moves to solve corner, in the same scramble, with OP and with turbo
136 moves with OP and 56 with turbo!

Move counts with OP are misleading. With sub-1 Y-perms out there, you'd be amazed at how fast some people's TPS is.

What.

Do whatever you want. There's a compromise between spending time to learn more advanced methods and spending time to actually improve your technique. If you're only trying to get sub-1, you could just spend time to improve what you already know, rather than spend a few months mastering BH.

I would seriously recommend using something better than OP for corners if you want to be consistently sub1. Most people would have a hard time with OP I think.

To be honest if you push yourself to 10s memo, not really. I can easily get 40-43 execution for M2/OP. Considering others might turn slower even will make it possible for consistant sub1. I also get many sub40 executions with M2/OP depending on scramble.

ok thank for answers
I think in next week I'll learn turbo algorithms for corner (it's only 8 because 10 I've already learned).
In next mouth I try to use turbo for corner. Now I spend 1:30 minutes for memo and 2 minutes to solve (with M2/OP) probably after next mouth I can have sub-3 with M2/Turbo. I hope

10 second memorization is world class. If you have 10 second memorization and 40 second execution... that's just a waste of skill.

"If you're good enough", you can do a lot of things.

It's like saying "if you're good enough to sub-1 consistently, then you can sub-1 consistently". a conditional leading to a reflection on the conditional. Just being pedantic. :D

This. Most people can't memo fast enough to make up for slow execution with M2/OP and still average sub1. Most people would find it hard.

^^ You'll have to do tons of experimenting and reading dozens and dozens of pages on obscure threads to find the most "optimal" for you.
