So i found out that I could use old pochman for 2x2 Bld but I need help with memo.

Generally I just use visual memo for the 2x2x2 BLD, since there are so few pieces to memorise. Try tapping them at first. Though, I'm also having some trouble, as you'll see in my question...

My question...
I'm trying to do the corners of the 3x3x3 with visual memo. What's a good way to get efficient at it? Do I just practise, practise, practise, or are there specific techniques I should use? I try tapping them, which helps, but is there any better way of doing developing good visual memo?
<---Still a noob.

try to picture easy patterns in your head, also say the letter of the sticker (like if you're shooting to RFU then LBD then BRU say R L B as you tap those stickers) as you're memoing. I sorta visualize a cube in my head and go from location to location (usually 2-4 shots grouped together.) Try to notice easy patterns like shooting to RFU RBU RBD goes around the R orbit, and make a connection to the setup moves if possible, like if it will be a one move setup/two move setup, or be a yperm or no setup or whatever.

There is none.

Well, yah you are right, but I am guessing he was asking what a common one is :P I dont actually know though, he could have actually been asking that question.
To answer the question if you wanted an idea for one, I go face by face in the order UFRBLD, and on each face I letter in the order RU LU LD RD. For instance, starting at the top right corner, the U face is A B C D going clockwise. As a random example, the D face is U V W X for me. It may be useful you swap X with Y, as it may be easier to create words..

??
You shouldn't have to go past V for edges and U for corners...

12 edges on a 3x3x3 cube, each with 2 stickers, therefore: 12x2=24 letters.
8 corners on a 3x3x3 cube, each with 3 stickers, therefore: 8x3=24 letters.

First 24 letters of the alphabet: A - X.

Am I missing something?? Could you please explain your reasoning?

You're forgetting to count your buffer pieces. While YOU might not have to go past V for edges and U for corners, someone using BH or another 3 cycle method have to include all pieces, including the ones you use as buffers (and don't have to account for).

With M2/R2 and Senior Pochmann the buffer pieces and their stickers don't have to be counted for. This makes only 11*2 or 22 letters needed for edges and 7*3 or 21 letters needed for corners.

No, you just don't need to have letters for your buffer. I can't get the letters E/T/W during corners, because those are on the UBR corner. Likewise I can't get A/B for edges, since those are at the DF edge.

What? Really? How does that work... I thought I was understanding it but I guess not. :P

I never see A,M,Q for corner cycles on corners, and I never see A,M for edge cycles on 3x3. Those letters are on my respective buffers. I only see letter pairs containing A and/or M in wings or big cubes centers. It's impossible for me to get one of those pairs on 3x3x3 with the way I solve.

--edit--
To clarify, this is for memorizing the cycling of pieces. I could get those pairs when memorizing permuted but disoriented pieces.

The memo system for 3 cycles and 2 cycles is exactly the same, you just solve the pieces faster in 3 cycles. Based on what would you think it's different?

Oh my, apparantly I forgot that 3 cycle methods use buffers too. >.>

Yea, that's a good explanation. I am just not as familiar with 3 cycles as I should be.

Is R2 decently fast (M2/R2)

I plan on doing that for quite some time before I can get comfortable enough with BH for corners, assuming I get that dedicated. Was curious whether or not I should spend my time learning it, if so, how many algs?

Nah i think learning algs of R2 is a waste,it can be fast at times but sometimes it can be slow too.

I'd suggest you to get to sub 3 with M2/OP which is not so hard
