I just can't bear it, I have to break it to him. Sebastiaan, they're just joking, 45 sec. for F2L is no where near good enough for anything else besides the beginners method. You still need to work on speed. Yu Nakajima is one of the best cubers in the world. There's no way you could see what he's doing. It's like his fingers are flying.

And the method they linked you to is a highly inefficient beginner's method. Nakajima uses the Fridrich method. I would suggest learning that.
Guys, it's really not funny to trick newbies. It's just mean...

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa; there is absoulely no reason why there should be a limit placed on when to learn a more advanced method for solving the cube. After learning LBL, I figured out CE pairing for myself when I was still well over 1 minute.
It doesn't make a single difference what speed you are solving at. Far more important is your level of competency. Seeing as the thread starter clearly has no confidence whatsoever in his own abilities to think out his problems for himself, I would not reccommend that he learnt a more advanced method. However it is really up to him to decide that.
