Just one advice : Slow down and look ahead, and work on your F2L, rest of the solve is good. Also practice and drill your PLLs.
I recently got sub-20 and that's what I did.
thx

Good F2L algs are helpful. Make sure to know most of the F2L cases memorized (you don't necessarily need to learn algs, you can intuitive experiment to find out most of them). Everything else is very good, just F2L slowing you down.
will try to do that

Watched that too just now

I should learn X cross ig
Wait, I thought xcross was intuitive. Why would you need to learn it?

Instead of focusing on getting faster you should be doing things that will get you better in the long run. IMO the most important thing (besides knowing basic finger tricks) is to understand how the cube works. Try out different methods and work on blockbuilding. Watch how certain moves effect the pieces. An xcross shouldn't have an algorithmic approach to it. I do xcrosses at least 40% of my solves and I have never watched a tutorial on it. It takes some getting used to but eventually it becomes almost second nature. I still can't do FB in inspection but that's just because I haven't put enough time into it.

The ultimate goal of a speedcuber shouldn't be to become the fastest (number one), that's a meaningless pursuit and it's impossible for the average person. You should instead be trying to learn as you improve trying to see how one thing correlates to another. Understand why this does that. It's fine to have help or advice, go ahead and watch a video if you think it will help you discern certain techniques but your answer for every problem shouldn't be to go and watch a Jperm video. That destroys the intuitive process and closes and padlocks a lot of doors that you'll have to struggle with later. I would actually (this is a very unpopular opinion and will probably make this a "meh" post because 14 year olds don't like it when you aren't a cultie) highly advice against watching Jperm who I think destroys a lot of creativity. A lot of people when answering anothers question will just tell you to watch Jperm's video and I cringe. Every. Single. Time.

Jperm isn't the all knowledgeable cuber most think he is he makes videos with very little idea of what he's talking about or makes it so methodical that you gain absolutely no further knowledge from it, but at least you know how to do Roux now amiright. Try to figure it out yourself and if you think a video will help watch one that teaches you how to get on your feet and do it yourself. The Rubik's cube is a puzzle, not some video game easter egg. Learn from it don't have others do it for you.

Hi, I searched up IMO and FB, but don't get what it stands for, and yes, I also do not rely on vids the first thing when I learn new algs, skills. I usually do experiments to find out the best solution to f2l cases. As for the X cross, I can do it 5% of the time, usually using a keyhole approach.

IMO = In my opinion

FB= First block. It usually refers to a 1x2x3.

Ah. Maybe you should start F2L algs because intuitive F2L takes a bit of time. I recommend the F2L pdf from cubeskills, because they are quite fast. I think you should also start learning some PLL algs for the cases that take a bit of time. You should already know the Y perm, T perm, H perm, Z perm and the U perms. You can learn faster algs for the U perms, because the R U versions are very slow and the M U versions are very fast.
i recccomend cubes skils too
