ALGORITHM DOUBT

while I was going through a blindfolding guide , an algorithm begined like this z'RB.Anyone have any idea what z mean?

uh no? lol

Well, My goal is to be fast, I was wondering if using my middle finger for U will slow me down later when doing oll or pll algs. As far as I have gone (learning 4lll and intuitive f2l) I haven't had any problems going slow. I aver 30-40 seconds with lbl and my pb is 22.05, so yeah. Everyone basically does it, and they got no problems xD. It's not slowing me down :P. Thanks a lot

what does etps an stps mean can pls anybody explain:D

They are measures of turn speed. TPS = Turns Per Second. There are several types of TPS, one for each turn metric. Normally people use ETPS, which is the number of moves in ETM divided by the time. STPS is also used (it counts moves in STM, which is similar but U U counts as one move).

Could someone explain to me why a cube should be scrambled with green colour on the front and white on the top at the start, whereas in notation conventions/guides red is on the front and yellow on the top?

It's arbitrary. The WCA regulations have to specify a scrambling orientation to ensure that the cube is scrambled as fairly as possible for all competitors. They happen to use white on top and green in front.

Many guides have yellow on top, as the white cross is often solved first and put on the bottom (as white stickers are supposedly easy to spot on a scrambled cube). The front colour varies. I think red and blue seem to be equally common.

I have question about the turn style. SO what is now better turn smooth and fluent or turn very fast but with a fwe small pauses. What do the best cubers use like feliks, collin, lukas, and mats?

Number of ELL cases

Hello,

I had a simple question which I am confused about, and hopefully someone can quickly answer my question.

anyway, without further waiting, here is my question: How many ELL cases are there, and how many cases are there excluding mirrors and inverses?

I think there are 42, I don't know about mirrors or inverses tho.
