Hey everyone!!!
So I want to do a BLD for a competition, but are writing numbers and letters on the stickers allowed, for knowing which piece is each number?
Thanks!!!
-Riley (RECuber)
A9s (with the exception of the A perm) all have an "adjacent non-interchangeable" pair, so once you see that it's either an A9, cyclic shift or column. For the cancellation, there are only two possible moves, both of which break the "adjacent non-interchangeable" pair. When it's broken with a quarter turn in the correct direction, it will create a possible interchange between the moved piece and the other piece from the "pair", and a half turn will create a possible interchange between the moved piece and the third remaining piece.
I don't know a lot about BH optimal edge commutators but I think all of the shortest ones are setups to M U2 M' U2 and simple variations (mirrors, inverse) of that.
I switch x with y and I have Rob YaU.Need one for XU
Not YU Nakajima? That makes more sense to me... What do you have for YA?I switch x with y and I have Rob YaU.
Is there a way to solve corner parity center-safely on 4bld, doing corners first?
Oh okay, thanks. I guess everyone who does corners first for big cubes does parity at the end of the solve?I don't think there is, because on supercubes x-centers and corners must have matching parity.

Also just found out the way I've been doing corner 5bld parity has been causing me to DNF.
I used to do centers first so it wasn't a problem, but I've switched to corners and midges first.I only do corners first on 6x6 and 7x7, so for those I just remember the last targets of corners/midges and do them at the very end (and also have to only use commutators for the targets when centers are unsolved). For everything else I solve midges and corners last.
What were you doing wrong for corner parity? Did you change your way of doing it since your official success (which had corner-midge parity)?
