Someone please answer this. I'm desperate!

Lubicle is noticibly thinner than traxxas 50k. That means the lubicle will feel slightly faster and make your cube feel less gummy/sticky. They feel the same after they are broken into the cube (to me) so it doesn't really matter which one you get (traxxas is cheaper but you kind of want a syringe for the traxxas unless you want to over lube a ton every time you lube your cube).
One isn't really better than the other.
I prefer traxxas 50k but I will sometimes use lubicle on the pieces (I always use traxxas 50k on the core but that's just me, other people will use other stuff).

Is it normal for cubicle assorted lube to suck? I dislike it; it doesn't last very long or work very well, and I've heard that from a couple other people. Or are my expectations too high? Is other lube no better? Does only putting it on the pieces not work, and I need to lube the core? What's going on?

What weight did you get? How much did you put in?

Weight 2, and not very much. The amount that speeds it up a little, but doesn't create gumminess.
EDIT: 400th post
I'm actually having problems with their lower weights as well. Personally I use weight 5 on my weilong becuase it lasts long, and slows down the weilong so I can control it. Also there is no risk of overlubing. I only use weight 2 on big cubes.

I don't really like gumminess, though. I like my cubes crunchy. Which I guess means maybe I shouldn't lube at all, or at least not use weight 5...? Not sure.

You could try lubing the core and the pieces. Weight 3 is usually a good balance between lasting long and speed/gummy feeling but weight 2 works too (just might not last as long).

If you didn't do this before, try cleaning the cube (at least get all the cube dust and stuff off the pieces with a paper towel or something) before lubing. Keep in mind that you will have to use more lube than normal because it's weight 2 (a ton thinner than lubix/50k traxxas). You don't have to worry about over lubing as much with weight 2 (but try not to go over .4 ml per 3x3 just in case).

So I recently bought this at a local toy store. 14vkknr.png I put in a few drops in my dayan zhanchi (DIY, never lubed). And it's truly magical, I had never felt a lubed cube though, so I don't know if there's even better lube out there. I'm actually not even sure if this stuff is meant for lubrication at all, but it works great!

I bought a 6in1 oil in a hardware store, i put a drop of it in my old dollar store cube. It became fingertrickable. (It barely turns before)Does it work for speedcubes?
