A lot of times, I finish OLL on 4x4 and after I do a PLL alg, I get this. Is there any way of doing that case without doing pll parity and then a u perm?

If not, is there a way to avoid this?

u' R U' R' u' r2 U2 r2 R2 U2 r2 u R U R' u imo, easily modified to work for any angle.

If you know full PLL (on a 3×3), try to recognise whether the PLL case you get (on a big cube) is a standard PLL case or a parity case before doing any alg. If it's a parity case, you do the PLL parity alg to swap two opposite dedges to get a standard PLL case, then do the standard PLL alg. (There are a handful of special parity PLL cases where this isn't the best way of solving them (e.g. directly solving adjacent dedge swap), but that's a somewhat more advanced technique that you shouldn't worry about now.)

Hey guys, do you have an algs for this layer case with 6 moves or less?
Thank you so much!

I have found a full VLS (Valk Last Slot) algorithm set (algdb.net) but I can’t find a full HLS (Hessler Last Slot) set. Does anyone have one?

How would you deal with this case without rotating? (blue face is front face)

I know I can pair the pieces with either y U L' U' L or y U2 L' U' L.
But technically since the edge is oriented I don't need to rotate to solve that case.
Is there a 3-4 mover I'm missing that would pair the pieces together?

Hey guys,

So I have learned full beginner OLL on jperm.net and I used all of the algorithms there except for a few. I need help with an alg because I can't find a good one. The case for beginner OLL is that the entire side is solved except for 2 of the corners, which make headlights. I think it is called the Superman. The one I use is terrible, but it was the easiest. It is (R U R' U')3 (R' F R F')3 The ones I have been finding have D moves in them, so I am not the biggest fan of them. Could anybody tell me an alg for my OLL case, preferably a 2 gen or 3 gen without many awkward moves.

Thanks,

The D move ones are actually really nice so I recommend working on the finger tricks for them, but if you prefer a 2-gen one (which also acts as a COLL/ZBLL case), you can do: R' U' R U' R' U2 R2 U R' U R U2 R'
Thanks so much!! I will try to work on my D moves, but this a nice filler, except it is too long. I might actually prefer 3 gen if it is to short. You don't have to find another one, it is fine.

(I am way too picky ;))

I use an alg similar to this one but I start with sune into antisune from a y2 angle. I am faster on antisune than sune so that might explain it but both of these algs are great and it just depends what finger tricks you are more comfortable with.

WV3.gif anyone have a good alg for this from the back. as in you're inserting this into the back slot. i hate having to do a y2 to get the oll skip every time i get this case. there is the case to be made for beginning the insert and cancelling into the L case but it has a rotation too so i would greatly appreciate it if someone knows of a better alg here.

Which slot?

Which PBL case is this?
