Crc or jigaloo?

I know that there has been a lot of posts on this, but should I put jigaloo or crc on my vcube 5, shengshou 4, and guhong? I'm thinking of crc.

For bigger cubes, I'd suggest using a spray lubricant(as most are built to not need too much lube, just enough to break it in), but I'd go out and buy some Traxxas 50Kwt lubricant(or Lubix, Z-Lube, etc) for smaller cubes.

If it's that, then it should work pretty much the same.
I never tried it though.
 
Should I clean the CRC out of my zhanchi before I lube it with lubix? Also from what I've heard I should use spray silicone on bigger cubes not lubix, so should I also spray the connecting pieces as well or just the edges and corners?
 
Managed to borrow an old tube of some industrial silicon based lube from work. Well I think that's what it was as the label was worn away to nothing.
It was a wee bit gunky putting on, and a bit of a hassle taking my zhanchi apart for the first time since I assembled the bugger, but it's a got a nice feel now, oh yes indeed.
Fingers crossed it doesn't kill my cube...
 
Need Help GuHong Lube New here

Hello I think this in the right section but I have had a Guhong stickerless for a while now just sorta my practice cube before I get a Competition cube however I need to know how to lube it with 100% silicone spray safely with no damage to the cubie or core or any other cheap suggestions a video tutorial would be nice

You can find CRC lubricant at Ace most likely, make sure you get the heavy duty silicone spray kind, not sure if there is any other kind but whatever. Traxxas should be available at your nearest hobby shop. Depending on where you live, you might find Jig-a-loo at a home improvement store. Maru lube and lubix can both be purchased online only.
 
Well what dou you suggest for a stickerless guhong im kinda thinking traxxas but if there is a good method to apply silicone spray please tell
 
Every lube I mentioned is good for it's own purpose. This video explains how to use CRC to it's full potential. If you want to see an alternate lubing method involving Traxxas and CRC, skip to about 2:11 in this video.
 
Yes, of course. The "safeness" of a lube doesn't vary from cube to cube.

In the future, you should use the OAQT for questions like these, which have already been answered 1000s of times. No need to make a new thread.
 
hey i got some silicone for my dayan zhanchi 3x3 and its very slippery. ive been drying it but its still slippery. what should i use??
