I really like a fast and smooth but somewhat controllably cube. I recently ordered weight 500, 1k and 5k, which should arrive soon. I also have some x-cube lube (maru copy). How should I lube my little magic/gts 2m/valk 3?

You could try putting 5k on the corner feet and edge tracks, and then DNM on everything else (the pieces, as they say), and then a bunch 1k all over that. It really just comes to down to experimentation though.

Slower lubes near the core of the puzzle are good for stability, that's why I said 5k on the tracks and feet.

Hello!
I have this incredible Rubik's brand that can corner cut like a zhanchi. I wanted to put on some better sticker shades a while ago (September) and so used Goo Gone to get rid of the residue on the old stickers and the goo gone made the cube very slow. I have tried to rinse it off to no avail. I am thinking about adding Maru but what should I do?

It's possible that some of that stuff may have hardened in the core, iv'e never used it or even seen the stuff you're referring too. But it's possible.

I think it may have softened the plastic a bit. Do you think that I should try using Maru?

GooGone has never slowed a cube down in my experience. It was the old citrus one that I used though, and a different type might be to blame.

SpeedCubeShop Martian works really well for speeding cubes up, at least in my experience.

So, I just got the 3cc version of Lubicle Silk, I put 2 drops in my Weilong GTS v2 which is very dry, and after breaking in, the lube keeps staying on the corner piece where I dropped in, no matter how many solves I've done. Does anyone have the same problem as me ,and is this a fake version of Silk ,i got it from thegioirubik.com ,and how to spot the fake one ?

I have the yuxin 3x3 and its pretty old.
the pieces are little bit worn.
the cube is pretty sluggish and its not lubed.
if i will lube it with cubicle weight 3 and dnm-37 will it be fast?
(the cube currently is'nt lubed)
