Fill it with wd-40 then wash it out and soak it in water several times. Failing that, chuck it out and get a ShengShou/Cubic AoFu

Can you clarify whether it's the outside or inside that is sticky?

What was the purpose of removing the stickers to begin with?

Try getting new hardware or check if there is a crooked screw

Since my 30k seems to be too "thick", I went to the local RC store to grab 10k

Later, will test a tiny bit of the 10k oil on Gans 356's cubies and 50K to the stalks.

I would suggest cleaning it out, but you've done that so many times already. Buying new hardware might help if you overlubed the core inside or had a crooked screw. I would buy a new cube though and wouldn't bother. The crooked screw would mean that it will be harder to turn on some sides of the puzzle

Might also want to try totally disassembling it, removing the screws and slowly and carefully putting it back. Without lube (at first)

Don't muck around impatiently with too much tensioning. Stay with one comfortable tension for solves before attempting any tightening or loosening, thus avoiding possible further thread damage.

FangShi Shuangren lube question

Hello! I was wondering if CRC lube is good on Fangshi plastic or not. I used it on my Zhanchi and it worked great, but not so good on an AoLong, so will it be good on the FangShi or should I use a different kind of lube? Thanks! :)

Does lubing the core have any other effects on the cube aside from removing spring noise?

Performance-wise I'd say no or, at least, not much. Well, while you disassemble the core you can remove some flash here and there which can help smooth the feeling of the cube. Also the lube will reduce wear between the screw and washer and the plastic so your cube will last longer. You can slow the cube down, though, by slightly overlubing the core.
