ok thanks, i will try to put it back, but its a bit hard. Im the biggest noob when it comes to cube insides

finally it went back in

i was so scared when i thought the edge cracked and broke but it just came apart where you can put it together again.

So I'm not sure if its from lube, but my valk 2 has some black rust type thing all over the hardware. It has not been underwater, and hasn't been lubed with anything that my others cubes have not used. It stays right next to all of my other cubes on my shelf, and I've never exposed it to anything more than my other cubes get exposed to. Anyone know what it is or how to get rid of it? WD-40 did not work.

Edit: I bought it new so there is no previous owner that could have done anything.

Hey I was wondering if anyone knows whether putting lube in a Rubik’s Connected will mess up the electronics?

which lube setup is best for GTS3M? Im looking forward to getting one, and i want it to feel fast and controllable, which lube can only do.

I got a mgc 6x6 today, i went to lube it but i didnt feel factory lube, i looked up if the mgc 6x6 had it and it said yes, i didnt feel any so i am asking you if there was any factory lube in yours

it made the cube faster, didnt change anything except it being dirty. It also was smooth, but im not using it anymore.
I remember when one of my friends dumped butter into a guanlong for a science fair project, it went about as well as you think it would.

Their testing actually showed that cooking oil gave better times than DNM so, maybe that's the future?

somebody make cooking/coconut oil without it being attracted to dirt. If that is successful, we just might have the holy grail of loob.
