Hi,

I use OP-M2. I solve corners first then edges.

I've been doing sighted solves to re-familiarize myself with BLD in the hopes of attempting multi BLD at my next comp. but every other solve i end up having all of my M slice centers off at the end. I suspect it's only on the solves involving odd numbered targets. I'm too lazy to figure it out at the moment. Anyone have any insight as to what mistake i'm making?

Using BLD methods for sighted solving is problematic, the solves have to be planned from the beginning - you can't separate solving the corners and solving the edges because they depend on each other in case of parity.

I use Old Pochmann. I just can't get the corners and memorization down.

Still not so specific. The method you use to solve does not really affect memo. Are you having trouble trying to figure out what your targets are, or having trouble remembering the targets once you've figured it out? What method are you using to memorize your targets? Most people use letter schemes, and I think those are the best, but no one can help you until you identify your problems better.

I have been having a wierd problem in 4bld lately. I memo corners with audio last and solve them first.(my execution order is corners, centers, wings). When I get corner parity, I have to wait until after centers to fix it.I usually just make a mental note that I have parity and that I need to fix it later. But lately, I have been realizing that I forgot to finish corners about half way through wings or not at all. What should I do to fix this?

I use M2/3OP for multi. On an average, if I attempt 11 cubes, I end up spending like 29-31 minutes memoing the permutation, another ~7 minutes to memo the orientation, and the whole of the last cube, and a quick orientation revision. During exec, I solve the first cube (last memod), then I first fix orientation on all the cubes, then permutations. Total exec time is like ~1.5-1.6 minutes per cube.
I have attempted small multi attempts with OP, and am extremely uncomfortable using it, as I am used to a 8 letter set for my corners now. I find it pretty painful to recall memo with a much bigger letter set, even though there is no orientation.
My question is: Should I try to switch to OP for corners (and maybe BH ultimately), or is there some scope for me to continue with 3OP? My long term aim is to fit 15-16 cubes in an hour (can currently fit 11-12). Is there anyone who's good at multi and uses 3OP for corners?

Switch. It's much less painful to memo and you'll get used to it very quickly, you just need to tweak your memo a bit. If you can do multi with 3OP then information storage is not a problem. I'm not in any way good in multi, in fact I suck at it, but I experiment quite a bit with methods, and I had just in fact switch buffers from LBU to UBL, and now I'm as comfortable with it after about ~40 solves than I was with LBU buffer, which I had used for the past 3 years.

For edges first m2/op. Isn't the parity alg D' L2 D M2 D' L2 D? Or is it something else?

U' F2 U M2 U' F2 U

Its the memo. I try to remember the corner cubie using a number scheme.
