I would keep X and drop Q, for those thinking about dropping letters. Q words are relatively limited, but I still have a full image list for Q's as well as a full word list, it was just a bit harder to come by those words.

X is quite easy to handle, just make those words eXtra violent, or sexual, or taboo, or nasty, or mean. I know this might sound bad, but memory experts consistently recommend that memo should be anything but polite and politically correct.

^ Haha, yeah I noticed that when I was looking through your one-syllables. It was either X-men or X-rated.

M2/R2

im transitioning from old pochman to m2/r2, but im not sure if its worth learning r2. As many people dont use it and im not really sure about. Is it worth learning r2 or is it worth learning some other method for corners

Also would it be hard to learn BH after only know pochman

That depends on how well you're into commutators. If you don't know what it is, you'll have a hard, but possible, time. If you're aiming for BH in the long run, I wouldn't learn R2. But start with M2, and see how it fits you.

well i dont anything about commutators... so should i still do bh or go to r2, im a bit confused

I'd suggest OP/TuRBo -> BH/TuRBo -> BH/Freestyle -> Freestyle/Freestyle. TuRBo gives you a better sense of conjugates than M2 does. And later you can just optimize your cases with BH edges and etc., rather than having to start fresh again (which would happen for M2). BH takes a lot of time to get used to and it's learning curve is often compared to F2L. In fact, I'd argue it's even harder given the limited resources there is for BH compared to F2L.

I was about to learn turbo but i heard its pretty much the same speed wise as m2 except its harder

Is it worth it to learn turbo edges?

also whats a good tutorial for turbo? both a written and a video would be helpful

OP is old pochman right?

^ TuRBo has a faster execution with finger-trick friendly algs and less moves (I think). However, the set-up moves can be a bit tricky sometimes and it's harder to come up with than for M2. In terms of a learning/mastering curve, M2 is easier to get faster at. In the long run though, TuRBo is extremely helpful in providing a transition into your own optimal freestyle method. In other words, don't get into TuRBo if you only plan on following a strict TuRBo method since the tough cases can really slow you down.

Google does wonders on the 2nd question.

Yes. OP is Old Pochmann.

I wanna do BLD because it makes you look good at showing off. How long does it take to get sub 45 BLD 3x3?

I'm sure this has been asked and answered a bunch of time before.

Can someone/sometwo/three please link me to what they consider to be the best resource for learning BH corners? I'm been using byu's thread already and I like it, but I think I'd like to see the problem from a different angle.

Written or filmed, I don't have a preference for the medium. I'd rather not be linked to just a page of algs, though. (Unless you truly believe that to be the best resource.)

Cheers.
I'm going to bump this once out of hope! =)
