Of course you can, and if you're crazy like Maskow you can even get sub 10Can you use bld methods for traditional solving?
but for most people tradition solving is faster than using a bld method

Yep.In 4BLD, do wing commeutators preserve centers? I believe they do, but maybe I'm missing something.

This is my solve from midnight session. As you can see my execution is so slow. Any tips how to be faster with execution? I use adv M2/3style right now. I know comms for edges but I stopped to use it now due to slow times and competiotion in next two weeks. My memo is usually around over 30 seconds. In this case I tried to make it faster.
I'm not an expert, but I don't think UF is better than DFI heard from Jay's video that using UF as the edge buffer generates better 3 cycles than DF. I believe him, but is the difference significant, if so, how much faster would it be? I use M2 right now so my edge buffer is DF and I was wondering if it's worth it to switch.
Depends on turning style and alg. If you really want a good answer, practise both versions for each case, then time them and use whichever you can do faster (applies to all alg choices for all cases, not just the specific question here).z/z' rotation or E/E' move? What's better in comms? I was using rotation but I've started to make with E/E' but Im not sure what's better?
It does depend on the alg/turning style, but I would say for almost all cases doing z rotation M move is faster(at least for me)z/z' rotation or E/E' move? What's better in comms? I was using rotation but I've started to make with E/E' but Im not sure what's better?
Everytime I see Gianfranco solving I decide to switch from z/z' to E/E', but then I realize it's way too hard and I give upz/z' rotation or E/E' move? What's better in comms? I was using rotation but I've started to make with E/E' but Im not sure what's better?
Everytime I see Gianfranco solving I decide to switch from z/z' to E/E', but then I realize it's way too hard and I give upBeing able to avoid those rotations would definitely make transitioning from one alg to another much better.
I think I'd rather execute a 1.2s alg that allows smooth transitions, than rotate twice, only to execute a 0.8 alg.
Rotations disorientate me in blind. I save my edge flips to the end so if I have to rotate to set up then at least I don't have undo it.
Comms is on my to do list but I'm starting with corners.I think you will be used to. I had the same feeling till I've started big cubes and comms.
