I just do a 1 move setup to ((M' U)3 M U)2.I'd like an alg to flip adjacent edges please. I usually set them up to opposite edges but would like to do it without the setup. M U algs are preferred. Thanks.

Interesting, I use the inverse R' U2 R2 U R' U' R' U2 Rw U R U' Rw'I use Rw U R' U' Rw' U2 R U R U' R2' U2' R
It's not M U but it's nice.
M2' U M U2 M' U M' U M' U2 M U M' is another option, also works on 5x5 midges if centers are already solved.I'd like an alg to flip adjacent edges please. I usually set them up to opposite edges but would like to do it without the setup. M U algs are preferred. Thanks.

I use
L U (L F' L' F) U' L' R' U' (R' F R F') U R

Have to try your version as well, if it's possibly faster.
Thanks guys. I've tried them all and I'm going with.... Mark's. It's versatile and feels nice but I'll switch U for U'.M2' U M U2 M' U M' U M' U2 M U M' is another option, also works on 5x5 midges if centers are already solved.
I don't know for XA / XJ, I just use the sounds themselves. For XE, XEnon, for XI, you can do the Greek letter ξ pronounced XI, XO, I use XO cubes (stock cubes) and for XS, I use eXceSs.someone please tell me all your letter pairs for X if you use speffz.
I can't think of anything for XA, XJ, XE, XI, XO, and XS

XA could be 'za', which some people say to mean pizzasomeone please tell me all your letter pairs for X if you use speffz.

Hi
Ive been working on solving 3x3x3 blind(I use old pochman) but im a Little bid stucked(Ive been triyng twice pr day in one week)...:
The corners is easy for me(i use sounds). But i have problems with the edges. i use sentences for the edges but i find it hard to make a sentence that gives sense and can be rembered.
Ive been thinking about making a letter pair list.
So here is the questions:
Do you have any tips?
Should i make a letter pair list?is it worth it?could it help?
Is there another good way to remember edges?

That's what I do too. DeeDubb has an audio pairs thread that's very helpful. You can try audio for edges instead, so that you have less to remember with a sentence for corners. I memo corners with images, then cram edges into unintelligible audio, then execute edges, then corners. I think that's pretty common
So, I'm working on M2 from OP and I get it mostly but feel a bit stuck. So I have the basic concept but feel like I am missing something since every tutorial seems just slightly different on what to do for the M line.
I have this scramble
L2 B2 L2 B U2 F' R2 F' U2 F' R' D R' F2 L D2 B' L' R2 U'
I put red in front and yellow on top and use the speffz letter system (A-X)
So what my thought was to just solve the M line with (M U2 M U2) for the BD piece and (U2 M' U2 M') for the UF piece and orient later. After solving with the letters (and I believe I have it correctly that if the letter is second in groups that I just reverse those)
My solution is
AR KE ON DL SB J
What I sort of assume was that whenever one piece is going to be be flipped either at BD or UF the next piece will be as well will be flipped, and if the piece is at the end of a cycle and I pick a random piece to start a new cycle than the bank piece will just be flipped. So since I knew E was going to be flipped the next letter is O which was going to be flipped on it's own form doing (M U2 M U2) and be back oriented correctly (Flipped because of the insertion but also flipped because of the previous E insertion). So I assumed N would be flipped at the end of the solve but it wasn't... D was. So where am I going wrong?
Just an update for this, I did just insert N the wrong was, and apparently I learned Speffz with E in front and not on left.... oops.
Question. Does anyone solve M2 and just shoot the middle layer with a single alg. (M2, M U2 M U2, and U2 M' U2 M') fix bad edges at the end or just do the correct algorithm from the start?
Secondly, is there a comparison of execution times of OP for edges and M2?
I don't know, but I wouldn't recommend it. Just learn the algs for S and I. They are not that bad and IMHO avoiding them is not worth the hassle and complication of flipping later. Also, once you get deeper into M2 you will realize that those targets are actually among the easiest/fastest because they are interchangeable with the buffer/target, and there are other tricks for exploiting that. For example, for SR, try executing like this: M2 U' L U M' U' L' U M'. That's only one move more than solving R alone.Question. Does anyone solve M2 and just shoot the middle layer with a single alg.
