I'm trying to get a success in 2/2 MBLD. My pb is still 0/2 however I've gotten very close once (forgetting 2 letters for first cube and 2 or so for the second).

Now here's my question: If I can't get a success, should I just keep trying normally? Currently I memo first cube, review first, memo second, review second, review first + second. And look at the cube if I need to. However, should I do a super safe solve by re-memoing both cubes? Because then I can make sure I have done no mistakes. However it's not worth it considering that it will take so long and I'm not building any needed skill. I did this with my first 3BLD solve and I couldn't get another success without taking a long time to memorize.

To sum up: For 2/2 first success, if a super duper safe solve worth it? Or just keep doing what I'm doing right now?

Thanks everyone.

I can't really help that much, but how long do you spend on memo?

Remember to imagine everything and first just go safe, very safe. When you get succes next time go little bit faster.

Try memo first, review first, review first, review first, (repeat so you will remember it for a week). Then memo second, solve second, solve first.

2/2 MBLD is easiest to do like this:

Memo 1st cube
Review 1st cube so much that you are absolutely sure you can remember it (you can use 10+minutes to this stage if needed)
memo 2nd cube like you would memo a normal 3bld
solve 2nd cube
solve 1st cube

Many of my DNFs are caused by mistakes with corners. I mean they are in right place with wrong orientation. I memo first words for edges and next letter pairs (audio) for corners and execute first corners (OP) next edges (M2). But I do mistakes with recognition. How can I improve it? I've noticed it some time ago (it wasnt hard to see it:) ) and I check corners making memo but I've improved it since than a little bit.

here is what i do for twisted corners:i memorize it visually and i assign number 1 for ccw and 2 for cw

also, to improve my recognition, i just do edges and corners separately until i can just straightaway know what letter is on the piece, but the point is to practise a lot.
sometimes if im tired of blindsolving i would just memorise the cube and scramble again and memorise again and repeat

Maybe i wasnt exact in my question. I dont have a problem with twisted corners. I memorize them with letters - I memorize a letter (or letters) where white or yellow is (my scheme is with yellow on top). If there is twisted edge I connect a letter with a letter of twisted edge.

I must try this. Thanks.

I'm not sure if I can help you with this but for me, I also memorise the flipped edges visually and if flipped edges happen to be on the M-slice, lets say the M slice is rotated(means the centers of the m slice is rotated) and my flipped edge is UF, I would remember that I must shoot to DB then to FU

I know what the answer to this question probably is, but I'm just asking to make sure: If I went to competition with a a bunch of different colored cubes (red, blue, green, white, yellow, orange) would I be able to use all the cubes of different colors for multiblind?

I would like to know what people usually do to do multi 3bld such as their memorization techniques and which cube do they solve first like the first cube they have memorized or the last one, I would also like to know how should I improve my journey method, any suggestion? My current MBLD record is 2/2 12:56.38.

I have a sort of roman rooms like technique. I have different rooms and I memo 3 cubes in each room (except currently 4 in the last one).

My order is the following:

memo cubes 1-3
revise cubes 1-3
memo cubes 4-6
revise cubes 4-6
.
.
.
until I reach 12 cubes.

Then I revise all 12 cubes

then memo cubes 13-16
revise cubes 13-16

memo last cube number 17 like in normal 3bld
solve cube 17

solve cubes 13-16

solve cubes 1-12 starting from number 1

3 cubes in each room? So how many images do you have each room?
