"no weilong is best cube if you don't agree you're stupid"

There's no use arguing with this guy, he'll say his opinion over and over and won't realize why he's wrong.

FOR MY STYLE, the Weilong is better. It is harder to pop PERIOD.

Oh no. They are two completely different cubes. And yeah, all cubes need lube. The amounts vary, but all cubes are better with some lube.

That is your opinion. Stop stating it like fact.

You're missing my point. Yes, you can like the Weilong, but you DON'T NEED to shove your opinion down other people's throats. You can't just tell people "The Weilong is the best" without context. Instead say something like "I think they Weilong is better than this other 3x3 because it has things that I like, and the other 3x3 isn't what I look for in a cube." You're misinforming newer cubers and are trying to have people conform to your highly biased opinion by bending the truth.

Fine. From now on I will recommend a Rubik's DIY.

Because we all love the sound of grinding metal in a cube. I'll stop being sarcastic when you stop spreading biased opinions all over the forum.

I like that sound. You also have biased opinions. Lubing the core is a good option, not necessary.

You're totally missing the point. If you quit being hard headed and listen, you might understand. Your opinion is fine. Just don't automatically recommend the Weilong to everyone on planet earth. People ask for smooth cubes, you recommend Weilong. People ask for crispy cubes, you recommend. People ask for fast, people ask for slow. Your recommendation never changes. Do you ever read their whole post?

And yes. Lubing the core is necessary for optimal performance. If you're cheap and refuse to pay $5 for some traxxas, you get to live with a cube that isn't as good as one that's lubed.

I've just ordered a Fangshi Shuang Ren V2 and some weight 4 cubicle lube. I heard that the pieces on the fangshi dont need lube. Is this true?

Would it be bad if I put lube on the pieces?
Or would it increase or decrease the performance?

Lubing always helps (unless you overlube). With the fangshi the problem is that the edge pieces have these small holes in them, and as a result all of the lube ends up in the gaps. The lube just cumulates in the gaps instead of on the surfaces and in the end lubing doesnt help that much or you have to lube way too often.
