So, I have a Zhanchi that may be kinda uncontrolable. It tends to lock up a bit and when I flick it as hard as I can, it spins up to 190-200 degrees. I was thinking to add more Lubix to slow the cube down. What do you think?

Sounds like you need to tension it
Tension it first, if it's still uncontrollable, add a little bit of lubix.

Okay, after I tried gumming my cube up, it got ****ed and its seriously uncontrolablly and gummy. HELP! Plz respond asap. :(

Take the cube's top layer apart, clean all the pieces, put back together and work in what is left in the cube.

Still too gummy? Repeat. At some point in time you will have the perfect amount left in there :)

What is the best lube for a Dayan Zhanchi?

I never lubed my Dayan Zhanchi before because it really didn't need lubing. It's getting a little slower now and the only lube I have is CRC Heavy Duty Silicon Spray, but one of my friends told me this damages the cube. I'm just wondering if CRC will be good for lubing my cube, and if not, What do you think the best lube for the zhanchi is? How do you recommend lubing it? Thanks :)

Best lube is differential oil (anything in the 10k to 50k range, includes traxxas and lubix). I would also recommend lubing with differential oil, breaking the lube in for a few solves, and putting 1-2 drops of maru inside the cube.

CRC is not really good for Zhanchis. It does something with the plastic that makes it feel slow/gummy and if it's not a white cube, you have weird white streaks (or discolored cubies for stickerless zhanchis) everywhere in the cube and sometimes on the outside the cube.

I have access to a micheals, hobby lobby, and multiple automotive shops.Do any of these places carry differential oil and what department would they be located?

I have had no luck in finding lube at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Automotive shops maybe. But I have had luck at hobby stores like Hobby Town USA http://www.hobbytown.com/. There is a Hobby Town USA store in Dallas if your profile is correct that you live in Grosebeck, Texas. Here is the Hobby Town's online store for Dallas. http://www.hobbytown.com/Dallas-TX/ also you could look here http://www.hobbytown.com/StoreLocator/

Is there anything I should look for. There is a mechanic shop down the road and I asked to see their differential oil and it was completely different.

These type of differential oils are used in remote control (RC) cars. So a hobby store that sells RC cars *should* stock the correct type of diff oil.

Try Amazon here or eBay here. Those links are for 50k, but there is also 10k and 30k. There is even a 3 pack with 10k/30k/50k together.

Yeah, don't get oil for real cars.
You'll be okay at a hobby shop if they have some, get probably between 20,000 wt or 50,000 wt depending on how fast you want your cube, I hear also that 5000 cst is pretty close if they have cst, but don't take my word for that.

I would personally feel safer with eBay or Amazon, but it might cost more.

That's cps to weight, not cst to weight. I may be wrong but I think they're slightly different.

IDK though I just know that CBC uses 5000 cst stuff and doesn't say it's terrible or anything, so it must be about the right viscosity range.
