What words do you guys use for QA? I'm using Quick Analysis atm and I find it quite weird.

Also, my accuracy on MBLD with even number of cubes are higher than odd number of cubes. E.g I have better accuracy in 4/4 than 3/3, so is 6/6 than 5/5. Is there anyone encounter the same thing? What problem could it be? Is it personal preference/instinct thing?

QuAck maybe?

I use Quartz (pink crystal) You'll probably find my list even more strange =P

I don't have have any problems like that. My accuracy suffers when I don't practice, regardless of how any cubes i'm solving =P

It is probably the way you arrange your memo for an odd number of cubes compared to an even number of cubes. My route is set up for multiples of 4 so if I'm only doing 18/18 for example I'll run through the first 4 in the firt 4 sets (4x4) then the second set halved. For 19/19 cubes I'll memo the first 18 like before then stuff the last cube into my short term memory then solve it like a single before going for the other 18. How consistent is your memo? You need a good system in place to deal with any number of cubes you want to attempt.

I memo in groups of 3, so when I'm doing 4 cubes, I memo 3 cubes, reinforce, memo last cube. For 6 cubes, I would just do 3, 2, and last for normal bld.

If you're comfortable with that then it shouldn't be a problem =)

Ah! one thing I forgot to mention. A good exercise for increasing accuracy is to keep the scrambles then place the cubes down in the same order you solve them. That way if you DNF during a big multi you can easily pick out which cubes you made mistakes on and conduct a post-mortem from there.

One answer BLD question thread blind

My bad, the cycle was UBL BRU DBL

That's an ugly one.

I use an alg I got from riffz:

[U : [B2 , R' U' R2 U R]] (14 moves)
AKA
[U x' [U2, R' F' R2 F R]] which I can't believe I never thought of before now lol.

Another good one I just found:

[R U' [L2 , U' R2 U]] (13)

My bad, the cycle was UBL BRU DBL

I would do that as U2 R2 D' R'U2R D R'U2R' U2

I would deal with something like UBL BRU DFL the same way. This how I deal with all cyclic shifts(U2 or D2 Setup into the easy RUD A9's). The extra move is worth it for me since I realized that I do not like the ten movers.

Depending on your buffers, leave UR and UL unsolved, along with URF and UBR corners unsolved. Then t-perm + solve wings. [R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F] y Rw2 F2 U2 r2 U2 F2 Rw2 y'
