Thanks, thats so great to find new algorithms. I think there is almost no case where you cant use new algorithms. I even found so many algorithms for cases where i think that they are one of the fastest:

BL-BR

normally:
U'LUM2U'L'U2 R'U'M2URU'

I just took the time and got 1.94 seconds

my way:
x'
M'UM'U2MUM
x

I also took the time here and got a 0.94

Actually I always thought that was part of Zane's video. Never watched more than 1 min.

No, not really..

Is it better to practice fast memo with more DNFs or slower memo with very high success rate?

Start every session slow with high success rate and then work your way down. That way you can ease into the fast memo and suddenly it won't seem as difficult as if you started there. Then, the next session you can start out slightly faster and end up slightly faster than where you ended up the time before. Good luck!

How do I improve success rate? I get like 30% now. If I go slower, I'm still just as inconsistent. If I go faster, I'm about equally inconsistent, but my DNFs are off by a lot more due to forgetting images or sounds or something.
Or memorizing wrong. That happens far too often...

Welcome to 3-style :P

Setups to 4 and 5 movers are very useful.

:D Good to know. But it seems like a loong way. Because right now, i loose time because of thinking while solving so i would be faster with normal M2 but i know that this is always like that in the beginning. So i really have to force myself to go on and not to get back to normal M2 i guess..

Do sighted solves where you still memo like normal, but then check yourself as you go.

I think your rate and speed comes with practice. So practice. Also, you might want to refine your system of memorization. Like using more diverse vowels in audio ect.

Alright, I'll try making my audio better than, cause that's definitely my weakest point.
Also, Q letter pairs (and sounds when at the end) are a pain. How long would it take for me to get used to switching my Corner-Q with A, E, or R (buffer letters) and my Edge-Q with U or V (buffer)?

I wouldn't recommend it. Just use different vowels when Q shows up (pronouncing Q like K).
For example:
TQ = ToQ pronounced "Toke"
TK = TaKe

Well, it depends on how much you practice, but seeing as you average ~2:40ish, I don't think it would take more than a hundred solves to switch.

For audio, I just added some extra sounds to the letters which got confusing. So Q = sh, C = ch, and XYZ are all the same sticker.

This may sound really stupid:

When I doing a multi I often (2 in 3 Multis) get to a point during memo, where I know that I will not be able to recall these LPs. I happened just minutes ago. I knew, that I will forget those two LPs.
My strategy at the moment is: repeat these two LPs twice and hoping for remembering. It works lousy.

What are your suggestions? I don't want something that takes a lot of time. My memo/cube is ~1:23

Have you tried making your loci more distinct? And your images and their interactions as well? Please give an example.

Fine, the LPs in this multi were: nano-processor, afro(hair), lasso, hulk.
My locations are: the place in front of the bath room (there stands a clotheshorse), and the shower in the bath room. So I imagine a dude sits by the clotheshorse and gets a nano-processor into his head and suddenly his hair raise up to an afro hairstyle. (I remembered seeing this: FISM 2012 - Patrick Lehnen) The I imagined a lasso catches hulk in the shower.

Normally such things work very well, especially because I review them 2 times. But after memorizing these pairs I knew this doesn't work.

On other multies this happens on other locations and with other LPs.

In cases like this I "pile" Letter pairs or add extra info.
"pile" as in adding additional images.

If LeGo doesn't seem to stick I add (not replace) LoG and/or Luge to it.
I'm not really incorporating them into my story, just adding these words straight after "LeGo"

The extra info is just adding some extra interactions with parts of the loci

Very nice. I'll have to try this.
