Sorry for not being specific,i was in a hurry.just like there is a T perm flip which interchanges the position of UFR and UBR corners and flips+Interchange UR and UL edges

I want and alg which flips+interchange UF and UB edges and interchanges the position of UFR and UBR corners.

I can simply do M2 D S2 Tperm Flip S2 D' M2

Just wanted to know if there is something better

Uh, I just made this up right now, it's pretty easy to perform --
B L R' U
R U' R' U' R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R
U' M U'

No, I dont believe so. The way I came up with 7*2 is that for each corner, you would have one letter to send it to the buffer position, and one to send it back solved. The 8th corner solves itself. It is basically 7 cycles of length 2. If you had 7 cycles of length 3, then you would have to have 7*2 corners. (The way I get that number is that for k cycles of n length, there are kn-k unsolved pieces)

Edit: Note that that is probably even too much, as most people would just remember the corner orientation if it was something that easy. They would also most likely use RDR'D' etc to solve it. That would be one sexy solve. (Ahh cubing humor, you gotta love it)

oh my bad i was reading wrong, I thought of 7*3 (like 7 corners with 3 different shooting positions each) my bad

flip/regular T/F/any other CE perms except G can be used to solve the remaining pieces in the end by setting them up into a PLL

Hmm, I guess. But as a previous quote said, why would you use a floating buffer for Old pochmann? When would it ever be beneficial to do an f perm instead of a T, Ja , or Jb perm? Maybe, if you were starting a new cycle you could use UB for a buffer... but.. whats the point xD

Perhaps a single question might help me understand: Are you new to blind? Or advanced in it?

That's whay I tought too. Initially I thought he meant flipped J-perm but then the desired edge swap doesn't fit.

Old Pochmann with floating buffer????????

Simply for fixing paritiy in 3-cycle methods. With BH you can get some weird cases sometimes.

Amostay and Zane - Are you guys using pure visual memo, mixed memo methods, or what? I can't really seem to make up my mind on which memo method to practice. I am choosing whichever suits the scramble ; It just depends on the simplicity of the cycles. For now I am using images / visual memo for edges. Corners seems to be working out fairly well with using one letter per sticker , and simply creating a short phrase. Thanks in advance.

My 3BLD memo isn't that good so I'm not the best to ask. To answer the question:
I memorise the first 2 edges visually and the rest with one syllable letter pair words/sounds. The corners and anything that needs to be flipped/twisted is memorised visually.

I'm not talking about Old Pochmann here.

@riffz

Thanks mate,i'll use that one

After how long/at what time with a single BLD solve with a 3x3x3 do you think it's safe to attempt a multi (2-3, only)?
I just got my first BLD solve, and multi is what interests me most, but I don't want to simply jump into it without semi-confidence, obviously. -.-

I'd get a bit more comfortable with getting successes (there is no number, just until you're somewhat comfortable with BLD. You'll feel it)

Also make sure you have a memo method capable of memo'ing at least 2 cubes (look into Journey/Roman rooms if you don't know what they are)

Multi is more fun for me then just doing 1 cube BLD :).

Hahah can't agree more. I can't wait till I have my lpl done... And just curious: Did you memorize the LPL _by_ creating it? Or did it take a lot of time afterwards? Im just using two programs I made, one that gives me a letter pair and then I give it the word (and then after 3 times it removes it) and one that gives me the word and I say the letter pair(which is easy cause you usually take the initials)

I decided to make my list and then memo it. I was memo'ing per alphabet letter so I felt like I couldn't memo since I would have random chunks of my list unfinished in all different letters.

I'd just say AA aardvark, and then go down the entire AA-AX. I memo'd B's deck style in ~ 20 seconds but I had some recall issues later in the day as I tried to remember it afterwards so I stopped :p.

I'd suggest using Anki to memorise the list. It's a really good flashcard program which changes the frequency of cards depending on how well you know them.
