So, Practice, but make sure to take breaks, if your wrist hurts, you've been doing it for too long. If your hand falls off, I suggest you stop.

To speed up your solves, I suggest learning 4L-LL (2 look for O/PLL)

Good luck practicing... I had a lot of encouragement as well... my dad kept grabbing my cube and saying, "You need more F2L practice" and scrambling it...

Badmephisto's videos+Macky's famous line=Fast F2L

who is macky, and what is his famous line?

@original thread prompt:

just practice. no additional learning is necessary at this point.

IamWEB answered the "what is his famous line" part, but Macky is actually Shotaro Makisumi (hope I spelled that right), and he is a speedcuber who used to have the WR average. His website is cubefreak.net

Oh okay... "I thought macky was a woman/girl."
But I don't really care about your english... it was understandable. My comment was more towards the fact that you actually thought Macky was a girl.

I don't get what "look ahead" means.

It means you should have some idea what you're going to do next at all times. For example, while you're inserting one pair in your f2l, you are at least able to track the next two pieces of the next pair you'll have to insert. Having this knowledge will allow you to have minimal pauses while solving, and that's pretty much the goal. If you don't see how this it's really possible yet, then just go slower until it is. You'll get there. Just keep practicing.
