How are CFOP algs named? Are the alg movements supposed to look like the letters? For example, why are the Ua and Ub algs in PLL named that way? Thank you.
They are supposed to be named based on how the diagram looks, but some of them don’t really make sense. You might enjoy these JPerm videos where he renames all of the PLLs.How are CFOP algs named? Is this the highest TPS solve on 3x3 or has someone gotten higher?

How should I fingertrick the RUuf Gc perm?
I just memorized each possible AUF case and the corresponding AUF. If you want, you can just visualize the UF edge being moved with a single U'. Doesn't really matter how you predict AUF.Also, what “sticker” should I use to determine the AUF?
aha, the wide G perm god is here

PLL+1 is around 14-15, TTLL is... around 15 too but I honestly don't knowDoes anyone know the average move count for:
Thanks.
- Mehta PLL + 1
- TTLL (best set of algs as it exists today)
ZBLLwhat is the best LL system to use with Petrus?
ZBLL
Ok lolI think it's fair to say that since he was online last 10 full years ago, this answer isn't of much use. That and the fact that he got at least 2 Answers 11 years ago agoalready.
It would be better to do EO -> dbR block -> CPLS -> 2GLLIs there a variant of Petrus where you do EO and CP at the same time, thus giving a 2GLL?
In YruRU, CP is done during the first step, so isn’t it the exact same thing, because the edges that are already solved don’t matter? It would be better to do EO -> dbR block -> CPLS -> 2GLL
I can’t really answer for the questions, since I don’t use Roux, but perhaps utilising example solves and seeing how they build blocks efficiently will help long-term. The thread on how to practice, and the Roux guides are all generally helpfulWhat is a realistic time to aim for completing the 2 blocks for a Roux Beginner after 3 months? and what does it need to be in order to be able to get solves under 60 seconds consistently (my ultimate goal)?
It's been 3 months since I started Beginner Roux. I do about 40 to 50 solves on most days. My average time just for block building is 58 seconds (Cubeast), although I get an occasional ~35 second time with a bit of luck. Something seems wrong.
