Haven't drilled or done timing comparisons yet though, and maybe it's better to execute it without the rotation.
That's impossible. Unless you mean swapping two opposite edges on the last layer, while ignoring corners, in which case, in approximate order of speed (fastest to slowest):can someone generate an alg that simply swaps two opposite edges?
