DNM only works right with some silicone lube in the cube because the long-lasting effect of DNM is caused by the lube pulling water particles from the air.if the lube is on raw plastic it will evaporate instead the silicone acts as a glue for the DNM
Hey there, is Silk, Max command, or Max fleet silicone?

Edit: Holy, This thing can cut 55 easily.

Ok, for some reason I've never actually lubed a cube or bought lube. What general-purpose lube would you reccomend me getting for use on my cubes? I usually order through Cubicle, but if the best one is an SCS exclusive then I can order from there as well.
I haven't either but most people would recommend DNM-37, Cubicle Silk, and Lubicle Black/Traxxas 50.

Well, my GTS3LM is about to arrive in an hour or so. What lubes should I use? I was thinking Lubicle Black (core), Mystic (tracks and pieces), and DNM-37 to taste. What are your guys thoughts? Any other recommendations? I have pretty much every lube you could imagine. Give me some suggestions! :)

Im no expert in Cubing, but based on what others told me, use Max Command for the core, use Silk for all the Tracks, and use DNM and Max Fleet for anywhere.

Those are fast lubes, and the cube has light magnets. If you can control it well though, I think that's your best bet, unless you have MAX lubes, then use Fleet on the pieces, and Command on the core.

I might add some traxxis 10k on the tracks of one edge if it's way too fast.. I don't like super thick lubes. What do you guy's think?

I'll probably do Lubicle Black (core), Mystic on one edge track and 2 edge pieces, traxxas 10k on one edge track, and DNM-37 to taste. I think it'll turn out good. I'd say after break in it'll be great. Thought's? I'm leaning towards Mystic because it's my favorite for the time being.
Weight lubes do a good job to add smoothness and control. Add a little at a time though, more doesn’t necessarily make it faster.

Anyone know how SCS Lunar and lubicle speedy compares?
Which one is heavier/lighter?
Anyone know roughly what viscosity they both are?

My go-to is lunar. I haven’t tried speedy, sorry, but if I want my cube to turn very quickly I’ll buy lunar from SCS.

Speedy is like a faster, thinner weight 1 or 10k. I like it a lot but if you want something like lunar go with DNM-37. In my own opinion and in a lot of other's opinions DNM is the best lube you can get your hands on. Its the longest lasting speed lube by quite a margin.
