If I want to clean out an aosu from lube, is it good to place the pieces in water? I know it's not good to place the core in water. Last time I used a towel, but I didn't get out much lube.

Silicone oil is hydrophobic, so it won't do much other than get water all over your pieces. I suggest wiping down every piece with a dry or slightly damp paper towel. I know there are a lot of pieces, but you have to have patience.

ideas for new lubricant?

I recently got lubix, and it isn't really working well. I've watched tutorials and everything, but it isn't helping. Any ideas for a new kind of lube that I could try? Thanks for the help!

So I've already lubed my GuanLong(which I will refer to as GL) but its a tad bit slow if I were to lube it even more it would become slower how do I get it to get faster and loosening tension is not an option.
either breaking in or idk. my main is a guanlong and ive been trying to make it better. It is unresponsive to lube, so i would clean it out first. Maybe modding it could help too

Is lube necessary in a DaYan 2x2?

I recently got a 2x2 from the referred brand and the tension I found it not to pop in an annoying frequency is quite tight. Since then, I have been wondering whether it is necessary to lube it to make it usable.
Also, I did use the search function and have not found such an issue, so I felt compelled to ask. If there is a similar post, please forgive me.
Thanks. (Also, sorry for any English mistakes, it is not my mother language).

I saw WD40 but was afraid to buy it since it had petroleum in it. Should I buy it? Also. Should I lube it with WD40 and then lube with Maru?
