When I turn at medium speeds and look ahead with no stops. But when I turn as fast as possible with stops and hardly look ahead I get 40 secs which one would be better.

I think you should try both and see which is better for your times, but I'm not very fast, so don't take my answer as the truth

From what I've found, almost none of them can.

My LMCF 3x3 method ports full 2x2 EG into the 3x3, the 2x2 algorithms work fine on the 3x3, only a couple of the 126 require that you replace R with r to avoid swapping the center pieces.

Which pieces on the 3x3 are you preserving while doing this?

No pieces are preserved. The corners are solved in one look during inspection like the 2x2, then you solve E2L pairs and finish with L6E or L5E. Full description and video is here:
This is by far the most efficient way to solve the corners since the move count for each alg is significantly lower than any variant that attempts to preserve some edge pieces.

That's what I thought. When we were referring to 3x3 CLL in this thread, though, we meant algorithms which preserve the first two layers. Certainly, if you aren't trying to preserve any edges, the 2x2 CLLs will work on the 3x3, but otherwise they will affect some pieces we don't want to affect.

So I put wt5 on everything since i find most cubes un stable since I have a rough turning style would it be good to have a extra wt 1 just in case I find a stable cube.

try a guoguan yuexiao. I find that CRC spray is best, and costs the cheapest(about $3 for a full-size can). But yeah, yuexiao can cope with anything you can throw at it. Literally meaning that if you force it, it will corner-cut instead of popping 99% of the time. I have never had a YueXiao pop on me. ever.

Ok thanks
