Maru lube

Does Maru lube actually make ur cube faster.? And how much by? İf uve used it please share ur experience.

Don't know about yours. I used 30k silicone oil without first cleaning the cubies.
Then after a day or so, it got gummy. I dissembled and simply cleaned with tissues.
Assembled it, and (after a couple of frustrating attempt at finding the right tension) now it turns fine. Without any lube.

[I just open a corner and ran my finger through the cubie - no "oil' on my finger]

Hmm... That's tough. Maru lube is a short term lube so don't rely on it too much. To me, it reduces the turning resistance making it easier to turn, but it's not faster (in my opinion)

hello i just got spray lube for cubes on a cubing site do i need to do all the stuff u do when lubing with silicone lube to get rid of spring noise or can i just put some in the centers and hope it gets into the washers and springs?

Um if there's less rezistans then it should be faster logic all right?
Anyway i Got sewing oil lube its yellow in colour and its really runny
İs it safe? Not sure what's made of?

Oh god, I think I've ruined my moyu skewb
I accidentally added too much weight 2 and no matter how much I wipe off it's still slow.
What should I do?

I don't have any other advice than let the lube break in and wear with time and solves. I had a gummy Sulong that got better and better after some hundreds of solves.

Whenever I apply Traxxas 30k to my Gans 357, the feeling only seems to last around a day or so before the lube appears to vanish and the cube's feel returns to being very dry and prone to flexing. I just squirt a bit in between the centre and corner pieces, will lubing the core/stem of the pieces help?

EMERGENCY!

Hello. I unstickered my V-7, and used screen cleaner to remove residue (along with baby wipes). All of a sudden, then cube is incredibly sticky. Please help. I have the following lubes:

Cubicle Weights 1 to 5 excluding 4
Lubicle Speedy
Maru
3-in-1 spray (but it is awful)

I need to fix this ASAP. Please help!

Thanks!

sorry.maybe, wash the cube in water? I'm not sure

in my opinion, if the outside of the cube is sticky, wipe it repeatedly with a moist paper towel (water).

if the inside of the cube is sticky, ur screwed. maybe u can throw it in the microwave and nuke it for 30 seconds.
