Tensions? Or wash with water and repeat. (Dont wash the blue core and the metal components)
ok so i wiped it out, relubed the core with tracts 50k and broke the cube in, but then it felt really dry so i put a tiny amount of weight one on the pieces. Then i tensioned it as loose as it would go without popping. This helped a lot, but i still don't think it is as fast as it was out of the box. What I've also noticed and what is really strange, is that it became slow as soon as I put the new Hualong Full Fitted stickers on it. Now i know the stickers don't have any effect on the speed of the cube, but it did change how the cube felt dramatically. Therefore i would not recommend these sticker if you already like how the cube feels. what happens is that your fingers only make contact with the edge of the stickers and not the piece and it feels catchy on your fingers when you move the cube around. The other thing i noticed is that i started using a gans 356, which eventually gets really smooth and fast and effortless to turn. But i loved my hualong so i was super bummed when i went back to it and it felt like a ****** rubiks cube. Just FYI for anyone having trouble with the Hualong
