I've started learning bld and I understand it completely now, what is the best way to practice before starting full attempts. should I just start them and see how far i can get or should i start with some pieces solve and add more as I get better?

Try to write down the letters of the memo, then solve the cube under a table or something while reading the letters. This way you can check if your execution is correct without wasting time memorizing. Another way to practice is to only memorize and solve 2 or 4 pieces at each look, so you'll immediately know if you have done something wrong.

When you start feel quite confident with the algs, set-up moves, parity and letter scheme, you can try full solves. Of course, you can try full solves whenever you know, but using 10-20 minutes memorizing to get a DNF can be very discouraging.

You could use qqTimer's edges/corners only scrambles in 3x3 subsets. I did a few edges-only attempts before my first full attempt. You never get parity though, which isn't very helpful.

You will never get parity with solved edges or solved corners. That is unavoidable.

I mean, if you do a corners only scramble and you decide to do an R' at the end for parity, would that person mind having 6 edges to fix at the end (or 2 corners and 4 edges, whatever the solver decides to do) instead of just 2, say if they decided to a T-perm instead. It just adds extra work.

So what are the best ways to memorize in yalls opinion? For my edges i do letters for each edge and for corners i use numbers and tap the corner but my problem is i forget where the corners go :P any help?

Not sure what you mean by forgetting where the corners go.

But images from pairs of letters combined with audio sounds works the best for the majority of people. I'm about to write up a piece for my Neuroscience course that actually explains why it is such a good system and why it is so effective, so if you need an explanation why then hold tight.

Ok! And by the corners not being in the right place i mean when i tap the corner but then i i forget where it goes on that face
